    Advice needed pleeeese!

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend,
I need your advice! will give a quick bit of info first!
I lost 60lb Ssing but decided to move up to 790 nearly 4 weeks ago. The first 2 weeks (i get weighted fortnightly) i lost 8lb which i was really pleased about but this last fortnight i've only lost about 2 lb (not official til tues) but my scales have hardly budged I really thought i'd loose quite alot this fortnight as i've started using the gym at work and jogging 3 times a week, do you think my body is holding on to the 790 cals or do you think its related to the gym? I'm not sure what to do really as i'm still 2st away from target, should i Ss again and stop gym or carry on with what i'm doing as it might be just a blip, any advice would be great, sorry for long post

Hi Hazel, I found that the weeks when I did lots of stuff at the gym my weight loss slowed down or stopped but it would come off all at once a week or so later. For example I lost nothing for 2 weeks (which was devastating) and then 9lbs the third week. I think in order to compensate for exercise you have to drink loads more water to keep up your weight loss and I found the eight pints hard enough! I'm not sorry I went to the gym even tho it meant my weight loss came in fits and starts because I'm much more toned than I expected to be after losing 6 stone. I would say gym in moderation but the weight will come off! Honest!

6 stone lost over 20 weeks strict SSing in 2007 and maintaining on low GI

Hi Frejja, thanks for your advice, yeah i'm sure it will come off eventually, i'll keep glugging the water and see what happens, its just disheartening when i've put so much effort in and it doesn't pay off! but at least i'll be nice and toned, Thanks again
