Angry Why is SS so hard ?

I have been on SS for almost 2 weeks and have lost 5lbs in the first week and my second weigh-in is on monday. I know I shouldnt but tend to snack in the evenings. I promised myself I would not cheat again...so I have stuck to SS yesterday and nearly completed today but just had a packet of crisp because I could not stomach another choc shake.

Is anyone else finding SS hard?

I find it very difficult at times as I love to eat, going out to eat is a favorite past time and it is my husband's and my main source of entertainment. He's very supportive of the diet but I find myself thinking about food all the time. Doesn't help that I watch food channel. lol. I did find when I am able to ss 100% 3-4 days in a row I think of food less. However had dinner out yesterday and now cravings are out of control. But I am Not giving in.

SS is deffinately hard, but thats because its worth it!
Your weight loss in your first week would of been alot more than 5lb if you hadn't of snacked on things like crisps etc. Just stay focused and think about how much you want and need to lose weight. If you stick to SS 100% no cheating, you will get big weight losses & that will keep you motivated!! Good luck xx

I too have found the last few days particularly hard.
My TOTM came Friday though so that hasn't helped!!
Weekends are also the time to socialise with family and friends.
I had a last minute invite Friday night to go out with friends for a drink but I had to turn it down.
Going to have to be bit of a recluse for the next several months
But it will be worth it I suppose :confused.

I too like going for meals but since starting CD I have turned down meal outs with friends. I have to keep thinking that being on ss is for a short time and my happiness being a size I would like to be is for a lifetime. My hubby is also supportive but still does not help I have to cook and not eat...but will stick with it

I've also become a recluse.. making up excuses as to why i can't go out with my best friend, telling people i've gone away.. when really i'm at home downing bottles of water trying to lose weight. All our hard work will pay off & we'll be so proud of ourselves!

Yes 100% not a bad thing past my lips...
I have SS+ Thursday and Friday because I think my TOTM 's cravings where getting the better of me.
But I have been really strong, I normally would have given in by now.
And it is right, the sense of achievement I feel today because I have not given in is amazing.
I have not felt this good about things in years. Just hope I can keep it up!!
Have a great Sunday everyone. xxxxxx

Stick in there girls the reason I choose this diet is because you can't eat if you start on ss, for me that is what I need, I didn't want to eat, I know if I eat my diet will go out the window. So many people say stick in there for few weeks and you get into a routine, I've heard of people say they don't want to go to the next steps of introducing food cause this stage is the best and you get to a point where you don't want to eat. Also if you are eating you will come out of ketosis so you will get prob get hunger pains, headaches etc and you have to start all over again, at least in ketosis you don't usually feel hungry, so by eating its a vicious circle for you. Stick in there results will be amazing, summer will be here before we know it.
TATA for now my lovelies, Lindsey. Xxx

I did ss for the first 4 weeks then changed to ss+. Not saying it's the best option for everyone but it's mad the diet a million times easier for me, and if I don't find I need the meal I just go ss all day.
There may be a little difference in the losses but I still seem to be losing 3-4lbs a week, which is fast enough for me.
    Week 1 -8.5lbs
    Week 2 -2.5lbs -11lbs
    Week 3 -4lbs -15lbs
    Week 4 -3lbs -18lbs
Week 5 CDC on hol -18lbs
    Week 6 -6lbs -24lbs
    Week 7 -0.5lbs -24.5lbs
    Week 8 -3.5lbs -28lbs

Careful with the excersise though - as they don't recomend you do any for the first 2 weeks as calorie intake is so low xx
