I'm going to stop weighing myself at home!
It was my first weigh in last night. My official loss was 8lbs compared to my weight taken on cdc's scales last week.........but my scales at home showed a 13.5lbs loss compared to my scales at home a week ago. I must retain a lot of water during the day! lol
no no no no no......dont get new batteries, i know that i cant walk past them withought weighing myself and if by chance u hapen to put on a pound, it will only dishearten u so no no no no no x![]()
stay away from the scales I tell you!!
makes weigh in with cdc that much more motivating.
I have to say... and I know I shouldn't.... but I am a serial weigher... I get on the scales about 4 times a day when I'm dieting, which is silly I know cos weight changes throught the day, I don't know why I do it. So I would get the batteries but as people have been saying it's personal preference, stay clear of the scales if you can.

I weigh every morning before showering and sometimes at night before bed.
I see my CDC Monday then she is off for hols for two weeks so I am asking hubby to hide scales and hopefully have a nice surprise on CDCs return.
Im also a serial weigher.. every day i get on the scales.. im addicted how can i get out of this habit

Resurrected post alert!
Hi Dietmama! Welcome to the forum xx
How about getting someone to take your scales away? If you can't physically get on the scales, that should do the trick!

I am responsible for my efforts (behaviours: food intake & exercise),
not for my results (outcomes: the timing of the numbers on the scales)
yes i think that has to be the answer... at least it will stop me feeling demotivated xxx thanks you
