Red face Doctor put dampner on things!! mmm....

Ok so went to see my doctor today to get him to sign form as bmi over 40..i said do u know much about the diet etc he said no i said well ive all the info here if you want to read so he did. He signed the thing no problem but was like oh he knows people who done lipotrim and lost lots and put it back on etc i was like yeah but they prob didnt try and maintain it better etc..he made me feel like i was a failure already before ive even started!!

dont get me wrong...the doctor was not smart or anything like that he's brill just thought he could have been a bit more supportive etc and like well glad your trying to do something about weight.

WELL I AM SO GOING TO PROVE HIM WRONG IM GONNA WALK IN THERE THIS TIME NEXT YEAR 10STONE LIGHTER..NOW TO GET MY APPOITMENT WITH CBC!!

maybe hes just trying to warn you that it doesnt work for everyone....when I wanted to try LL my doc agreed to sign the form but said that it was a ridiculous amount of money to spend for what is in the majority of cases a short term result. Maybe thats more where your doctor is coming from?

    You go, girl!!

Blooming doctors. Trouble is, most of them have never been overweight in their lives so they have no idea how hard it can be to lose the excess. Their mantra is 'diet and exercise'--oh, if only that alone was all that was needed... The thing is, all nutrition related things get hardly any coverage during their training--well, they certainly never used to anyway.

Anyway, all of us here know you can do it! Just keep posting, okay--and let us celebrate those pounds coming off with you!

not for my results (outcomes: the timing of the numbers on the scales)
