    Avocado allowed?

Had a soul source+ day due having to study for my pending exams, and had a avocado in my salad, will this knock me out of ketosis? thought it might be ok as it's allowed in other kerogenic diets? Help please! xx

So long as it wasn't a lot of avocado you should be fine. But try not to get sucked into the whole 'ketogenic' thing. Cambridge works well and works fast because it's a very low calorie diet. It's low carb almost by accident. Low carb foods can be highly calorific. Eating a slab of cheese won't knock you out of ketosis but the calories and the salt would most likely affect the scales come weigh in time. So try to stick to the allowed Sole Source Plus foods as much as you can.

    Hope the exams go well!

Lost 5 and a half stones between October 2007 and April 2008 (doing Cambridge Diet). Unfortunately, many of the f*@!*#! found me again.
