    Day 1. First time on CD

    Well its my first day on the Cambridge diet. I am finding it alright so far not feeling particularly hungry. Had the maple and pecan porridge for breakfast. YUCK!!! will try it again tomorrow but later in the day to see if I prefer it as I'm not a massive morning eater. Had the chocolate shake for lunch, was OK tasted a bit like a Yazoo milkshake Got the spicy tomato soup for dinner later will have to see how that one goes.
    The only bad point to my first day so far is my dad being so negative about it, already telling me if i don't like it don't worry its just not for me. Basically setting me up to failure already
    Any way will see how the rest of the week goes

    My Mum is so negative about me being on it, but I won't give up, I'm sick of the negativity surrounding this diet, I just turn a deaf ear to the haters lol!
    The shakes etc are all trial and error to figure out what you like, I invested in a blender, the shakes are much nicer blended with water and ice Good luck with your journey xx

    See my mum is starting LighterLife next week so she is very supportive i will have to try the shakes with ice, ive been told it makes it taste like an actual milkshake. I have brought a bottle thing to shake your shakes in for when im at college because i obviously cant blend them there. its worked alright, just need to shake it a few times to stop it being bitty.     Haha i wasn't going to tell him until after a couple of weeks on it, but he kept asking me to go out for dinner with him this weekend so had to tell him. oh well i will prove all the people putting the diet down wrong

    Good luck, I found when I was on it last time I didint want to tell many people other than my family and work and this time I really dont care what others think its what I want to do that counts! My dad was very sceptical about it last time although he lives abroad and came back to find a lot less of me and had to conceed that it had worked! He knows I am on it again now and is being supportive.

    I dont really mind who knows, most of my work friedns also know i am doing this diet. A coupld of them are doing slimming world and want to make it a competition on who can loose the most weight each week haha. I am loosing the weight for myself so i have more confidence and can wear clothes that i like without worrying if it will cling to my tummy too much. good luck to you also x
