    Weight loss through the steps...?

Trying not to be a neurotic weigher but...

I started SS+ last Friday and have stuck to it rigidly, weighed out everything, kept up the water and so on.

Why do my scales tell me I am a pound heavier than my WI last Thursday night?

Anyone else experienced this? I don't see how I can put on weight eating 650kcals a day!

It may just be water retention!

You won't have put on weight. Unless you have your scales at home calibrated then they will never give an accurate reflection of your trie weight. CDC's have there scales calibrated probably once a week to ensure accuracy

You haven't, don't worry. It might just be one of those weeks where fat loss isn't going to show up on the scales, just the amount of water you're retaining. I'm having one of those weeks myself.

No matter what they say, you will be losing fat. Impossible not to on 650 calories a day. Try not to get disheartened. The water weight will come off and then you'll see what you've really achieved.

Plus as others have said, your scales are prob different to CWPC's!

Lost 5 and a half stones between October 2007 and April 2008 (doing Cambridge Diet). Unfortunately, many of the f*@!*#! found me again.

    Thank you for your replies!

Still no loss. I have been weighing my food to the last gram. Texted my CDC who suggested going back to SS for a few weeks (as I am not quite where I want to be yet!) but tbh, I think I have made the mental switch now and need to persevere.

So, any ideas on how to get rid of the water retention if that's the case?

Hopefully I will be back in a few days reporting a good downward movement of the scales. Would love to hear if this has happened to anyone else and what the outcome was!

How are your bowel movements? I was really constipated for a while and it really effected my losses

It might just be the adjustment to SS+, but it will happen. Stick with it, if you don't lose this week I bet you have a bigger loss than you expect next week.

Hi Hun this has been my worry this week I have my official weigh I tomorrow but have no weighted myself at home as I have learned over the years that my weight fluctuates so much from day to day and hour to hour! I do weigh immediately prior to getting my official weigh I just to see the difference in our scales! I am sure if you stick at it Hun you will lose! Rachel posted on my diary that she has been onSS+ and has been losing 2/3lb each week!

Stick with it Hun I am sure you will have a good loss x
