    Lipton Cinnamon Tea

Sorry if this is the wrong place but I've been away for a looong while!

I'm about to restart SS on Monday and wonder about one type of tea.
I know we can have herbal tea but not flowered tea - I have Lipton's Cinnamon Tea, ingredients are Black Teas, Nature-Identical Cinnamon Flavour & Cinnamon.

Can anyone tell me if this will be okay on SS?

    Thanks!

    What about the citric acid?

Hi, my consultant said I can't have anything with citric acid so no lemon/raspberry/strawberry/mango tea etc

Only nettle, peppermint and green (as well as black teas).

Now I don't know what is right and I love fruit tea.

The rules have changed. As from June last year all teas are now allowed because it was found that the infinitesimally small amount of citric acid in fruit teas was unlikely to affect anyone's ketosis or weight loss progress. However, Head Office have advised that if drinking fruit tea does seem to have an adverse affect on you personally (as explained, highly unlikely) then you should stick to leaf teas only.

I've yet to come across anyone that applies to!
