    New to CD and want a diet buddy!

    I started the Cambridge diet a week ago but would love a diet buddy... I have just over 5 and a half stone to lose and would welcome a buddy also trying to lose weight on the CD diet so we can help each other and hopefully make the time pass quicker :-)

    20th December 2012 to 7th January 2013 - Gained 4.25 lbs (not bad seeing as i spent two weeks on an all-inclusive holiday and ate loads!!!)
    Phase 2 - Started 7th January 2013 - Weighing 12 stone 2.25lbs

    Week 1: 5.5lbs!!
    Week 2: 4 lbs!!

    Week 3: 2.25lbs
    Week 4: No weigh in - birthday binge!
    Week 5: 0.5lbs

    Hi hun i start CD tomorrow and have 5 and a half stone to lose too! How are u getting on so far? Im really motivated and cant wait to get going! Ive already cancelled a night out and a hen weekend in blackpool next month as I dont want to slip up and heard alcohol can be really dangerous when in ketosis. Have my own hen weekend in spain in november so going to have a few days break for that! Hannah xxxx

    Hi there I hope all is going well! I have embarked on the CD just 2 days ago, but have managed to convince myself that I have already lost some weight! Maybe that's just the eternal optimist in me lol. I have a major count down as I need to drop 2 dress size to fit into my wedding dress by December!! Help. Nothing like a deadline to achieving a goal. Anyway I know it's not been long but I am totally focused - Good luck

    Thank you It's probably as tough as i was expecting... Generally very positive though. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it's going to work. I think I will be much happier after my first WI on Monday - all being well that is lol. First week and my best friend who emigrated to Australia is back in town.... the will power is going to be really tested! How are you finding it?

    Hi girls, thanks for posting. Hopefully we can all help each other... I started on SS last Tuesday. Had my first weigh in on Monday and had lost 8.5 pounds! :-)
    I would really like to shift all my weight by Christmas but think that may be a little on the difficult side! How are you all finding it? Are you doing or planning to do SS? How are you finding going without proper food? I'm not hungry, but I keep dreaming about biscuits and scones!!! LOL! Sad thing is I always remember in the dream I'm on a diet and stop so I can't even enjoy them asleep!! How'd everyone else doing? Xx

    Hi girls - well if we keep at it without cheating I don't think there should b a problem we can help each other... U will b tested but just think of the end result will be worth it .. Any shakes u like/don't like? Cherry ru in kito now? Well done for the loss tomnkstemum keep at it.. X

    Absolutely agree, we must try hard! I'm supposed to be going for a family Carvery at weekend so that will be fun not eating while everyone else does... Must keep telling myself, its worth it on the long run! I'm loving the chic mint shakes and mushroom soups... I loathed the maple and pecan porridge...what about you guys?

    I think I can honestly say I loathe nearly all soup. The shakes and porridges are good so may just live on that next week. I am on day 5 of the CD SS - hopefully will be able to get through to December .. I have a family wedding in nov so hoping I can lose by then my first WI on sat! What about u? All ok today? X

    How long have you been following ss? How you doing on it? Tonight was hard, I left this am at 6.30 and got gone at 7.45 and my other half's eating waffles, sausages and beans, smells great, but I have to have a shake and water! As you say, its not for long... Must keep saying this as a mantra!! :-) lol!
