When Will I Move Up A Step?
New starter to the Cambridge Plan. Began the journey on Feb 4th at 17st5 and looking to lose about 5st to be a healthy weight for my height.
As of this morning, my 12th day, I'm down to 16st6 (although that wasn't an official weigh in - I just checked myself) and on the Sole Source stage.
I've stuck to the plan 100%, except on a couple of nights when I felt like I needed a bit more and had some steamed chicken & broccoli in line with the Sole Source+ plan. My consultant said I'd be absolutely fine to do this because my job is a physical one.
I have roughly until July 1st to reach my goal weight - I'll be off to Uni in the summer and only working part-time so won't be able to afford the £42 a week.
My question is, based on my time constraint, when should I expect to move to stage 2 and beyond? I don't imagine I can stay on Sole Source then just stop the plan altogether, so any ideas?
I'm going to speak to my consultant about it on my next weigh in on Thursday but a ballpark estimate would be very helpful!
To move up the steps correctly it takes 7 weeks, ts advisable to do this so your best bet would probably be to work out when you can afford to got ill and then start going up the steps 7 weeks before. Because remember it will cost more than £42 some weeks as step 2 for example you still have all 3 packs plus food and milk to buy.
Hope this helps...good luck

Thanks for the reply, LMS! Makes sense and helped me begin to work things out before I speak to my CDC.
