    Changing scales

    Does anyone else get the frustrating sight of scales that seem to increase and decrease at certain points of the day?

    I get one figure in the morning as soon as I've gotten out of bed, but if I check again at say, 8pm that same night, I'm guaranteed to be a couple of pounds higher than I was that morning.

    I know that it'll be to do with water intake and when I'm having my three products, but isn't it so frustrating?! My weigh-in is in the evening too, so I feel like I'll need to fast that day until my CDC has been and gone.

    I know it's not a good idea to weigh myself so often, but those scales just stare at me every time I'm in the bathroom, lol!

    I do weigh myself every morning as it helps me to keep on track but never on evening as it would dishearten me.

    Everybody's weigh goes up and down throughout the day, if you drink liquid the weight will be in your body, try not to seriel hop on the scale as it can drive you mad I weigh in club @monday and perhaps once in the week just to see how the ground is, BUT. having said that I have weighed on a Monday morning got to club and lost 2lb from the morning!! X

    You know the moral of that story.... stop standing on the scales. I can't talk, I hop on at least twice a day, but it doesn't bother me as I know it isn't real gain. Though I quite often find I go down a pound strangely. I keep meaning to put away my scales, but no sooner have I put them away as they are out again.

    No no no no nooooo! Remember its not all about the numbers, and your weight loss is the same -doesn't matter what you get on the scales - yes it's different but if you loose a pound - it'll be a pound whether you weigh In the morning or the evening, overall the result is the same.

    For me, to keep consistency I consider my actual weigh in to be the one I religiously do first thing on a tues morning, completely starters, after a going for a wee. My appointments with my CWPC aren't regular, and I actually changed my CWPC at one point as well, so this enables me to keep my own personal, regular record. so I don't pay much attention to what my weigh in is with my CWPC is, and actually he does it In kg anyhow so his numbers are a bit foreign to me anyhow!

    Maybe that would be an idea to make you feel better.

    I removed my scales from my house after week 1 as I just want to be weighed once a week an not get obsessed with the scales, and hopefully be surprised each week when I visit my CWPC. I think if you weigh each morning depending on what the scales say will set your mood for the day. X

    Your scales at home are not calibrated therefore the reading you get can't be truly believed. But like others have said everyone's weight changes throughout the day. I do almost fast before a weigh in. I get weighed at 1730 and drink nothing after about 1500 lol

    Thanks for the replies, everyone.

    I think my first two weeks were a bit like "this'll never work" so I was on and off scales like crazy.

    Now that I can see a difference in clothes/photos, my mindset has changed to concentrating on that.

    Weigh in is tomorrow, and thankfully it's in the morning so I won't have to consider fasting and feeling terrible all day.
