I've got until (roughly) May 1st before I'll need to quit and go it alone. My hours at work will be reduced because I'll be a student and with other financial commitments, I simply won't be able to keep the plan up.
I weighed 17st5 when I started on Feb 4th and have dropped down to 16st0 in the last 17 days. 90% of my days have been SS but a couple of nights I've had chicken with broccoli, effectively switching to SS+ then back again to SS.
Now I know nobody will be able to tell me what I'll lose if I stay on SS with occasional SS+ for the next 10 weeks - I appreciate it depends on a number of factors and the guide is for a loss of 1st each month - but I'm really speaking to people who've been down a similar path and could tell me how it went for them.
If I could get down to 13st by the time I quit, I'd be delighted. I'm tall, so i wouldn't be too far from my ultimate goal by then, which I'm sure I could do alone.
Would a CDC even allow someone to be on SS then suddenly quit? I know they can't stop you, but I expect they want you to go through the Steps under all circumstances.
Any input would be great, whether it's personal experience or knowledge of the plan.
Thanks![]()
