starting step 2 on monday, info on the uncooked - cooked weights?

hello there met with my consultant last night, wanted to start on SS but was advised against it as I'm a nurse and apparently nurses shouldn't do SS? anyway, I am happy with 810 however noticed all of the allowable foods are uncooked weights. I am a lover of prawns and have always bought the cooked prawns for convenience therefore does anyone know what the allowance of 250g of raw prawns equate to a cooked portion? if that makes sense. thanks in advance.

The rough rule of thumb is that cooked weight is 75% of raw weight. So 75% of 250g which is 187.5g.

I actually doubt though that having 250g of cooked prawns would make a whole lot of difference calorie wise. In fact, I'm willing to bet that a lot of people make no allowance for the difference between cooked and uncooked weights - with no ill-effects.
