My period was a week late and at first it was light then stopped and I lost 2lb that week but then the week later it started again and was really heavy! I stayed the same that week and then the week after my period stopped I lost a whopping 6lb. I guess it's different for everyone though some people go totally unaffected and some people can actually gain weight during totm :-)
