MSN VIRUS UPDATE - please read if you have MSN

Morning all

Well I ran Norton and AVG last night and neither detected anything. Using my powers of deduction this either means I don't have the virus (which seems odd seeing as my MSN sent links to address book) or these anti virus tools aren't detecting it. I spoke to my brother this morning who is a programmer and he advises that it is very nasty and very hard to remove. I am taking my PC to him tomorrow and if he finds the virus, ie, virus software not detecting it I will let you all know asap.

You could try an online antivirus scan - Home & Home Office | Internet Security Software - Trend Micro UK - it is a bit difficult to find the "free scan" link, but once found you need to download some software onto your pc, then run the scan. I have often found that this finds things Norton misses.

how did you get on removing the virus, as it looks like my niece has got it as she keeps sending me links, any advice please thanks emma
