Hey everyone! I'm new to all of this!
How is everyone getting on with the CBD? I start mine this Friday
hoping to just be on Sol Source for roughly 12 Weeks, also is it safe to take Orlistat too?

Hi.

I'm not sure if its safe or not to take orlistat but what I will say is there's no fat in cambridge especially on sole source. So u won't need it. You may struggle with constipation just on the diet but putting orlistat in as well you would be really constipated.

Good luck!

week one- 17 1/2 pounds week two- 4 1/2 lbs week three- no weigh in week four- 11 lbs week 5- 5 1/2 lbs week 6- 4 lbs week 7- 1 lb week 8- 10 lbs week 9- 4.5 lbs week 10- 3.5 lbs week 11- 2 lbs

Hi,

I agree with Caz, you won't need the orlistat. That and you would potentially loose the nutrients in the cambridge products.

Good luck x

No it says you cannot take any anti obesity medications (which includes orlistat) whilst on the diet. But seconded the above comments you don't need it. I'm keeping my in the cupboard for the future :) x

I only started excercise on about week 8 of ss. Ive started going swimming and got a personal trainer. But don't work too hard.

week one- 17 1/2 pounds week two- 4 1/2 lbs week three- no weigh in week four- 11 lbs week 5- 5 1/2 lbs week 6- 4 lbs week 7- 1 lb week 8- 10 lbs week 9- 4.5 lbs week 10- 3.5 lbs week 11- 2 lbs

Not for the first 2 weeks, youre body needs time to adjust. I've only just started(end of week 10) with the 'run a 5k' app it's only 30mins a day 3 days a week that's enough for now, have to take it easy with so few calories (not saying its easy, god the sweat and sometimes pain) in my book it advises no high impact exercise, the cambridge website I believe has a walking program PDF you could take a look and try that out? Xx

13.3 start weight 11.2 right now and going down!

Good luck with your Cambridge journey!! It's a brilliant diet!

Have you calculated your BMI? If it is over 40 (which I'm guessing it might be if you have 8 stone to lose) you'll start on step 2 for now (you can move to SS once your BMI is below 40). It's a great plan though and there's little difference in the weight loss between the two :)

That's a great piece of information, how come SS isn't suitable for people who's bmi is over 40 if you don't mind me asking? :)

I think it's for health reasons...maybe too dangerous to survive on such low calories with a high BMI? You're consultant can probably confirm why. You can move down to SS once your BMI is below 40 but you might find you don't want to! That was my plan initially but I love 810 so much I'm sticking at it :) (I've done SS before so I know what SS is all about and what it feels like when doing it). I've lost 3st5lb in 12 weeks of 810 so the weight loss on 810 is excellent too!! x
