My consultant has just moved me up.

I see. Well I was on CD for three weeks and lost 13 pounds. It hasn't really agreed with me despite doing it 100%. It's not confirmed and my Consultant doesn't know but it looks like being in ketosis for me is not agreeing too much and from reading it's suggesting an electrolyte imbalance which was I feel like I'm still going into ketosis every moment of every waking day. I don't have any medical problems. I'm gutted as I was 100%.

She recommended step 3 but I personally don't feel the need to follow it as the step is not providing a state of being in ketosis and essentially a 1000 cals diet. For me I don't think it justifies buying the products and I'm going to take supplements as it's low cal.

I did ask get about weight going up the steps as reckons not. However I started yesterday (as some bars left) and I have gained a pound. I think it would as more cals, coming out of ketosis etc but should balance out.

Would be great to hear your thought and how your are doing.

But of you feel that ketosis doesn't agree with you then going up to step three will be the better option. My consultant did say that it takes two weeks for it to get going though as it is an increase in food.

Hi Caz,

Have you felt any different since starting step 3 so far? I've gained 2 pounds and feel slightly bigger. I wonder if it's the body adjusting, digestive system is adapting etc. I hope so as I'm not happy.....

I feel okay actually. I did have a couple of days off at the weekend so I know I have gained a couple of pounds anyway.

I'm finding I'm using the toilet a lot more though! Think it must be the fruit!

We'll see. I've still got 9 days till weigh in anyway.

I managed to lose a pound though I gained 3 in the week as well! My body had to work hard with adjusting! Have felt really full and struggled to eat but I have noticed in the last day that I feel hunger.

What about you?
 
That's still a result. The only number that matters is your weigh in weight as your weight does fluctuate throughout the week.

Yes I do feel a bit hungry at the moment but I think it's just starting to prepare you for when you Come off products altogether.

def can feel hunger pangs but suppose now im out of ketosis its to be expected. it not as bad as i thought so pretty grateful for that4jx
