    Hello Minin's,

    My name is Emma,
Day one on Cambridge - Have no idea what weight loss to expect but its got to be better than my current eating life style.

I eat on the run, grab quick things from the local super market, missing breakfast then eat take aways 6 out of 7 nights a week.

I started this morning with a ready made choc shake about 8:30 I have had one pint of water and I feel hungry and have a head ache. I'd normally have had 2 teas and a coffee by this time of the day.

I am determined though to crack on with this!.

My partner is not interested and although he will support me I guess he will still be living on the take aways, he is not interested in loosing weight until after Christmas as we do have lots of events to attend. I'll give it my best shot.

It would be good to have a buddy during this time :-)

    So here goes.........

    Hi Emma,

Well done on making decision to start at a difficult time of year but let's face it- anytime of the year is difficult!! So if you're ready then you may as well start straight away and not put it off, well done! I have been doing this diet for 3 weeks now and have lost 16lbs so am over the moon. I have 2stone to lose to get to my target weight.

Once you are through the first 4 days it will get easier. My husband isn't on the diet so I do have to sit next to him while he eats, cook his dinner make lunches etc etc... It's hard but as the weight comes off it becomes easier to do!

Just get in the right head space and you'll be fine!!

This forum also really helps too there's lots of encouragement on here. Stick at it you won't be disappointed xxx

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Not liking it today but I know after 3\4 days i'll be on the right track.

16lbs that's so good and so quick. Would be good to keep in touch with you see how your getting on etc.

Do you eat any foods at all?

I want to lose about 2 half stone. I have tried every thing but it all takes to long so I am hoping this is the one for me x

That's ok! Yeah actually I started on ss+ so I kind of mix them all up now! (Wouldn't recommend to do that during first 2 weeks) but I have 3 products, and then sometimes I have skimmed milk in my tea (2-3 cups a day) sometimes I might have a protein only snack (boiled egg or a few prawns) and sometimes a 200 kal protein/veg meal (even a chicken kebab minus pitta and just with lettuce!) depends how I feel. the weight is coming off steadily!

Sometimes it helps to have a little protein snack to keep you on track rather than coming off and going on a completely crazy binge. I was 100% the first week though.

Hope this helps! I started at 13 st 9 and I'm 5'7 so it's not like I've got tons to lose and it's still coming off quick. I'm the same as you trying to stick to WW. And lose 1-2 lbs a week just wasn't working!
