    Day Three Side Effects Feeling Sorry For Myself.

    Im on day three of ss+ having never done CD before.
    So im feeling utterly rubbish. Ive even called in sick to work (something ive never done before).
    My mouth feels blah. My muscles feel weak (kind of like flu), and my head is pounding. Ive only just dragged myself out of bed at its 1pm.
    Are these the side effects of ketosis? I feel like i need to man up and get on with it, and that im a baby for complaining.
    I text my CDC and she advised me to step up. I really dont want to if this is going to be over in a day or two .
    Is this normal? If so long long does it last?

    I would say completely normal. You'll be feeling much better by Saturday unless you are actually poorly.

    Stick with it it will get easier,

    week one- 17 1/2 pounds week two- 4 1/2 lbs week three- no weigh in week four- 11 lbs week 5- 5 1/2 lbs week 6- 4 lbs week 7- 1 lb week 8- 10 lbs week 9- 4.5 lbs week 10- 3.5 lbs wk 11- 2 lbs wk12- 6.5 lbs wk 13- 2.5 lbs wk 14- 2.5 lbs wk 17- 3.5 lbs wk 18 - 5 lbs week 19 - 5.5 lbs week 21 - 1.5 + week 22 - 4 lbs week 25 - 2.5 lbs
    Week One - 17 1/2 lbs
    Week Two - 4 1/2 lbs
    Week Three - Consultant on holiday

    Thanks for the reply Caz. I think i was just being a baby. Ive managed to make it through today and im feeling a little better already.
    Goals:
    1) Make it through the first week
    2) Half a stone (10st5lbs)
    3) Back into the 9's

    Aww. Glad your feeling better. I'd give it one more day then you should feel abit more normal.

    When is your weigh in?

    Are you feeling better now? This is my first day on CWP well I'm a restart & iv always had 2 take the first wk off work because I feel so awful. Unfortunately I can't get annual leave this time so dredding nxt wk

    Hi Jade, Yes im feeling much better now. I just had the one day off work. It hard resisting all the food in work though, im a nurse and everyone around me is a feeder! How was day one? Did you manage with work?

    I ate some curry on Friday. it was the first time i met my boyfriends dad and step mum. My BF told me that he wanted me to eat because he didnt want them thinking i was a "freak" with my shakes! I dont think he understands how hard it is, even though hes seen my weight yoyo over the past 9 years. I understand it was ultimately my decision to eat. Im hoping that i still loose something as ive been 100% otherwise, but i realise it will have set me back.

    Im trying to be positive. After all, my calorie intake will still have been way lower than if i was eating takeout several times a week as usual.

    Well this wkend has went right down hill! Me & my bf already had made plans for the full wkend & I thought we could of got out them but unfortunately not! So looks like it's day 1 again 2moro! Iv had a gd talk 2 him & hopefully he'll b a bit more understanding & supportive now he knows exactly how I'm feeling!!

    I'm really determined this time it will work so he's bn told any plans that come up that involves food or alcohol count me out for the nxt few months. I'm planning a break on Christmas Day & Boxing Day & also Hogmanay & the 1st Jan but apart from they dates I'm planning total SS till I get 2 goal which will hopefully b end April beginning May. We r really wanting a baby ASAP but there's no way I want 2 b a fat mummy! I'm really glad ur feeling better what day u on now? Think I might start a dairy 2moro 2 keep me going!
