So. I have just had my appointment with my new CWP counciller, and she has set me up on the SS+ step as i only have to lose 3st 4pnds. I am 6" and currently weigh 16st 8pnds, and want to be at a target weight of 13st 4pnds to be at an healthy BMI. So i start the diet tomorrow, which i will be having 3 shakes and a pint of skimmed milk, i could do with a bit off support off you lovely minimins and i can return my support for anyone that needs it. WE CAN DO THIS! :)

Hi Shane,

I started on Friday so today is day 4. I've not been doing great but not swayed massively. I'd like to lose 3 stone by end April (i.e. 11 weeks) Not sure if this is even feasible but Im a big momma so hopefully it will happen. I had a SP this morn and I've lost 7.5lbs but this could vary during the week.

Good luck tomorrow, get your head in gear tonight and be ready to hit the road running in the morning.

Laura x

Thanx Laura, i am ready to start in the morning, and 7.5lbs is a good loss for 4 days, good luck on your weightloss Journey :)

I'm re-starting again today after having Tonsilitis, feeling good so far and watching Supersize vs Superskinny to motivate me :p Good luck with the plan, always around if anyone's needing a natter xx

I am doing alright so far. I had my first shake (fruits of the forrest) at 9 o'clock, goin to have my next one at 3 o'clock , that's a good idea to watch 'supersize vs. Super skinny' that will help us on our journey, and thankyou, we can support each other, as its been 6 yrs since I was last on the plan :)

good luck shane! I restarted yesterday and going well so far for me on ss! ive maintained my weight loss since last time so thats a bonus too. im aiming for 4 stone off in 3 months xx

It's my first day today, I've never done Cambridge before have always been a slimming world girl but just can't get my head into it at the moment so thought I would give this a go. I'm doing Step 3 at the moment. Looking forward to seeing some results x

Hi Shane I start in 2 weeks and so excited to get going! I did it in 2012 and did really well but just didn't follow maintenace and am back here again! How is your first day going?

How was your first day? I start tomorrow..so nervous!

Thankyou people, I got through day 1 easy, (No hunger pangs, headaches, dizziness etc.) I work 12 hour shifts as well, so trying to focus on work over food, I had my 2nd shake (banana bliss tetra) at 3 which was nice. Eating my third shake now, (Mushroom soup) which I think is discusting. I have drank over 3 and half litres of water and sailed through day 1. Now onto Day 2.. BRING IT ON! Good luck peeps.

Day 1 was easier than last time I did cambridge in 2009. Onto day 2 now feeling fresh, and cold lol! But it is a cold one outside, working a 12 hour shift again today, so I am going to have my first shake (toffee and wallnut) at 09.00 and a strawberry tetra at 3. Hope today go's as well as yesterday, and I hope u minimins have a good and easy day :)

Well done on getting through your first day, hope the rest of your week goes so well :)

Well Done Shane and everyone!

I'm new to Cambridge, started this morning so only 4 hours in. Starting to feel hungry now - had my breakfast shake at 7.15 (I get up at 6) - think tomorrow I will try to leave it later until I have the first shake.

Have already had 1.5 litres of water and have a leek & potato soup to look forward to!

I am so determind to do this, I can put up with the hunger pangs - just more water and more trips to the loo!!

Good luck everyone xx

Thanks again everyone.. so far ive found it easy, I am feeling fresh in the mornings and can sleep better at night. I am going to have a vedgetable shake at 9pm. Day 2 over bring on day 3.. Hope everyone is getting on fine :)

Thank you Ems, I spread my shakes out every 6 hours eg. 09.00, 15.00, 21.00, and drink up to 4 litres of water a day. That way I am never hungry and the water keeps me going throughout the day. Keep up with this and we will be seeing great weight losses over the next few weeks. I am currently on Day 3, and starting to get a bit of an headache. Must mean I am on my way into Ketosis which is a good sign. I am supposed to be on SS+ (3shakes & pint of skimmed milk), but I have not been consuming the milk, just the 3 shakes a day. My first weigh in is on Monday, which I am looking forward to, hopefully get a big loss in my 1st week. I am going to have my first shake which will be Maple and Pecan porridge, never tried this flavour but I did have a Apple and Cinnamon porridge last night and loved it. Hope you all have a healthy and easy day :)

Best of luck everyone. I'm starting into week 3 on Friday. I've had enough of the porridge so I'm going to mostly chocolate / mint choc shakes next week which I'm having hot and then 5 chicken and mushroom soups for lunchtime at work. The tomato soup and chilli soups are awful.

Can you tell a difference in weight loss when you get to week 3? I've got 2 chocolate mint and 2 chocolate, they are my favourite. I just have porridge in the morning, just tucking into maple and pecan one now. Its tasty but still prefer the Apple and cinnamon. I am on nights tonight at work so going to have a chicken and mushroom soup about 4oclock, and then a Mango shake at about 11 o'clock tonight, drink plenty of water and I should be alright until I get home at 6 in the morning. Good luck on your next weigh in 6 and half pounds is a good loss for the 1st week well done. Hope everyone is doing great.. I know I am.... so far lol :D

I can definitely notice a difference and people at work are commenting. I'm back into a lot of my old clothes. I've lost at least a dress size and my stomach is visibly flatter. I've also had comments about how clear my skin is these days. It makes it much easier to continue on with the visible changes.
