Are your scales different from your consultants?

I wonder if mine are adding more pounds than what my consultants scales would, does anyone compare your weigh in at home to your actual weigh in? I thought all scales were kinda the same but who knows?

Mine uses a Weight Watchers scales and was weight 5-7 lbs heavier than mine at home so I bought a WW scales myself and they are both the same now.
