    Any of you use Ketostix?

    I bought them today and I only got a pale pink colour. Based on reading old posts here im presuming im in ketosis however there's contradictory posts on whether I should be getting a much deeper shade or not if I want to be fully on plan. Anyone know the ins and outs of a ketostix?

    I use them. When I do them first thing in the morning there the dark pink but when I use them in the day after drinking loads of water I only get the light pink too. That's normal, as long as they show ketosis them your in ketosis.

    Great to know thanks. If you have a slip would you show as not been in ketosis the following morning or does it take longer than that?

    Sorry hun I wouldn't know to be honest as I've not yet slipped. I'd imagine if it was anything other than protein or allowed foods you'd come out of ketosis but I'm no expert x

    It shows up pretty much straight away if you are out of ketosis, and it makes no difference on the shade of pink, except if it is too dark you need more water.
