Hi There,

I am starting again today after losing 4 stone last year and putting two back on!!

Feel really optimistic just wishing the time and the weight away!!!

Good Luck all xxxx

Hi everyone thanks for your support , day two ,, not been to bad ,,,,, i am disappointed in myself more than anything , especially after giving everyone the big this is the new me chat , never gonna be fat again , blah blah blah,,,,, i'm cringing with emarrassment that i failed again!!!!
I've gotta do this and bloody learn ,,
How is everyone getting on!!!! Good to have support !!!! Lets face it , we all know we can do it xxxxxxxxxgood luck x

When I finally had the courage to step on a set of scales in January this year I realised that in the previous 12 months (since being with my new partner) I'd put on 2stone 9lb. I was already overweight before this.
I joined weight watchers and did lose a little bit but it's slow, and knowing that you've got to shift 2 1/2 stone just to get back to where you started a year ago is soul destroying.
So here I am, back on Cambridge. I've done it before and been quite successful but this time somehow I feel differently. I have 5 stone in total to lose and I actually think I will do it.
So come on, you can do this, you've done it before you can do it again. Xx

Your absolutely right !! We can do this !!!! I think i had to get to breaking point , where i almost crawled on my knees , banging on my consultants door to let me back , lol !!!
I to have messed about with WW and SW, but its so depressing when you've been good all week and lost a poxy 0,5 lb,,,,,,,,,, esp when you know this diet gets it off fast .
I am an all or nothing girl, and found taking food away is good for my mind , somehow i feel in control of myself when i have been doing CWP,

Omg I'm so the same. I went to a ww meeting and they're really pushing the simple start at you which is very similar now to the slimming world diet. I wanted to do the old fashioned points system and when I was asked why (infront of the whole group) I replied that I needed to be told when to stop eating!! Lol. They all looked at me like I'd got two heads!
I am a complete all or nothing girl, you cannot put a packet of biscuits infront of me and tell me to have two, my brain just doesn't function like that.
So here I am back on Cambridge, it works for me because I know what I'm having three times a day and the biggest incentive is seeing it works. 11lb in my first week. Where else's would I get a result like that?
So come on, stick with it, and if you have the occasional fall, get right back up and try again.
Good luck, let me know how you're getting on. X

The whole free food thing with SW , almost became a challenge to see how much i could actually eat ,,, not goid for my mind set , i can tell you and i ended up eating crap for the sake of it !!

Haha, reading them made me laugh I am so the same been back and forward to sw a million times!! I am definitely all or nothing!! I want to lose around 3.5 stone in total and know this time when its gone I am never going back!!! Day two for me and feeling ok plodding on!! Looking forwar to getting in the 12s again!!!

Good Luck all xxxx

I too have about 3.5 st to lose,, and i can tell you now , i really really do not want to be a repeat offender every year because i don't have any bloody self control, my consultant has already said when i get to target i can still have a weekly weigh in with her for free,,,, to keep on thr straight, what i do know is i will not be visiting SW ,,, sorry people for those that may have had success, but everytime i went back i was a stone heavier because i kept scoffing "free food" even when i wasn't on the diet !!
I'm just a greedy cow lolxxx

I saw it as a personal challenge.
Yep, jacket potatoes, tick, can have that. Don't think he meant the one too big to fit on the plate that took 4 hours to cook! X

Had to laugh at this, extra large jacket potato. With SW for me it was the home made 'eat all you like' baked chips made up with about a dozen large potatoes. Eventually I started adding more and more and more balsamic vinegar...and it was definitely goodbye Mr chips there on down...

Slimming world roast potatoes, spray oil and a chicken oxo cube sprinkled over the top. I could do a tray to myself easy! X

We used to have a basket near the section where you paid. You were encouraged to bring a suitable item, piece of fruit etc to place in this basket each week and it was bagged up and awarded to the slimmer of the week at the end of the night.
I remember us all getting a snotty letter and being told off for not taking it seriously. Apparently Tesco value lard, frozen faggots and jelly tots were not on the plan!
Who knew?? Lol. X

:rotflmao:....a girl after my own heart. Not anymore luv, I'm CD to the infinity and beyond. I feel I'm running out of chances!

I've messed around a bit this week, weds was a disaster and bit worried about tomorrow but I've got a wedding two weeks today so best get focused!! X

Weekends are the hardest ,,,,,,, really miss having a bottle of vino,,,, sparling water is just not the same ,,,,,, but 3.5lbs will take be into the 12's and mentally that would be be a great boost, weigh in is on tue, so if not this weigh in , definately the next !!!! Really want to get to my mini target of 11 st asap !!!!
