Step 1 Sole Source Hi, would need some motivation… any idea?

Hello,

have gone through CD in 2006 and I lost 22 KG at that time (77 to 55….)

unfortunately though, I could not maintain it because of the bad habit of binge eating in response to emotionl stresses…

My personal life style is somehow stressful which is not an excuse of course for binging but I am trying to clarify the scenario for you…


Now I am 88 :sigh: and would like to go down to 58 kg… I am 160 cm height…

Would you suggest any kind of motivating ideas?

btw, I tend to be patient in the morning but as the day goes on I start binging near bedtime which is even worse…

I tried starting SS couple of times over the last months but could not continue…

I am planning to start tomorrow but thought sharing experience with others who know how difficult it is will help me…

Any word will be appreciated..

I'm in a similar position. I started CWP today and reached 3pm having only 1 shake but then there was food available at work leftover from a meeting. It was going in the bin unless it was eaten and I couldn't resist. I did manage to ignore that cakes :eek:) but I had 4 little sandwiches. So failed today and will be trying again tomorrow, but it's not really the motivation I am lacking - it's the willpower!

Good luck - hope you find the motivation you need. I'm hoping I can find my willpower!!
 
Day 1 is too hard to keep repeating it, so once you have one under your belt you can keep going.

To get though day 1, water, distraction and support are the main things. And if in doubt, have an early night.

You'll put so much effort into going through day 1 that you won't want to do it again!
 
Thanks all for your inspiring words;

indeed yesterday (Day 1) passed OK because I had to do emergency dental procedure so consequently I am almost not eating because of pain and the mess in my mouth :-(….

Could only get the breakfast (CD meal) and water… thereafter only water…

Today will be the 2nd day and will be trying to follow my 3 CD meals although this is going to be not easy with the current dental pain…

I really appreciate the support one gets from reading threads in this forum…

Sad to hear this,,

we all need sort of this willpower,,, sometimes I feel that a button should be on when we start to break the cycle but ……..

I hope you can get there coz it is really worth it…
 
Ouch! Sorry to hear about the pain but a blessing with the diet....at least you should get through the first 3 days without much hassle! Silver lining ?
