I'm officially on Day 1, after a lot of weighing up (no pun intended!) whether or not I was going to do this, taken the proverbial bull by the horns and met my consultant today. Cannot be happier, she was lovely! And her prices are awesome too :D

Started with 8 days supplies as not sure which day I can make it next week, so far had a capuccino shake and loved it! Right now, motivation is at max, so hoping to carry this through.

Wish me luck!

Welcome on board hun! and keep hold of that motivation!!!

The first 3 days are tough, but it does get easier!!! :)

Good Luck! I found days 4 and 5 the hardest I think, but today on day 6 am sailing through the day :) xx

You do need to keep up the water as the shakes have a diuretic effect so you could be feeling the dehydration effects already. Keep going though it is worth it.

End of day 1, status: HUNGRY! When does that stop??

That said, had cappuccino, strawberry and choc mint shakes today, all very lovely, would like to try the choc mint one hot though, might be nice. Not sure on soups yet though, haven't brought up the inclination to try them. Ended up with 21 shakes and 3 soups for the week!

after 3 days! and then any hunger after that is emotional and not physical!

Stick with it, its about to get amazing!

I like the soups. I alternate between a shake and porridge each day, but always have a bar and a soup! Love the chick and mush soup with some chilli in :)

yeah the need for savoury does get to most people. this is why i have a soup with a bar after. Makes me feel like i'm having a meal and then a pud. and even on maintenance i shall be having a meal with some fruit after.

I seem to be one of the luckier ones, no ill effects or hunger at all. Maybe I'm just not far enough into it yet. Got a day off tomorrow, so if it does all catch up with me, I don't have to suffer at work.

Chocolate shake this morning was lovely too, tried all 4 flavours that I got now, so happy, but think I'll need to have a bit more variety next week. Looking forward to the Leek and Potato soup tonight too.

hmmmm i found the leek and potato soup really powdery and bland, but if in doubt, add herbs or spices! :)

Glad youre liking all the products. i love the oriental chilli soup, its amazing!!!

Are the 'spicy' soups that spicy? I'm really bad when it comes to spicy foods is all, would like to try but worried they'd be too much for me.

The tom one is horrid (personally) and they aren't spicy at all, just flavoursome. I actually add spices to make them have some heat

Well done, you should be in ketosis this time tomorrow which will help matters :)

dry mouth and no hunger! :) i carry around breath spray (primark's finest) and toothpaste, but find that drinking peppermint tea and water helps with the breath

Just tried the chicken and mushroom soup, really disappointed. First product I haven't been thrilled about. It's ok, just quite bland and powdery. I mixed in more water and curry powder just to give it a kick and still not that into it.

Will probably end up giving the cappuccino shakes a miss next week, now I've tried all the flavours I have, it's the only one that leaves a nasty taste/feeling in my mouth after. I can handle dry mouth, but it feels so sore after that one. It's a shame as the flavour is lovely.

Still not sure if I've hit ketosis yet, I keep reading things about hitting 'The Wall' when it's reached, and I certainly don't feel any different to yesterday, might just be taking a bit more time. I meant to buy Ketostix while I was at Asda earlier, but just completely forgot!
