Step 1 Sole Source Day 1.......

Hi everyone

i have just started today on sole source, I have been planning this for a while. In fact, over the last six weeks I have put on a stone just having 1 more day of "enjoying myself" before I started
no point beating myself up about the ridiculousness of it, just need to get on with it

so here I am with 70lbs to lose.......any advise would be appreciated x

Hiya, I'm afraid I don't have any advice yet as I'm new and starting on weds, however I just wanted to empathise with you about enjoying yourself before you start the diet! I've been terrible the last couple weeks, wanting to get all the cravings out of my system before starting! I haven't reduced my carbs before starting either which I think I will regret once I start, hopefully it won't be too horrendous! Good luck to you, how has your first day been? What flavour products have you had so far? X

I completely understand the 1 more day enjoying - done that as well. I did this diet 4 years ago (and then again 18 months ago) and it really does work. All I can suggest is you drink plenty of water and stick 100% to plan. I know some people can take days off but I can't, and I find it so much easier of I don't. If I know I have an event coming up I just use it as an excuse to cheat anyway. When I did it before I stuck to plan, through birthdays and Christmas and it worked really well for me. I started (again) yesterday as well. Focus on the first week and then the weight loss is a great motivator.
