Starting Cambridge Diet tomorrow, looking for people to join journey with me

Hi everyone. So today I had my first consultation. I am 14 stone 12lbs. I'm 5ft 4inches. I am so determined to lose weight, I really want to do this so badly but I'm so scared I'm going to fail because I will be so disappointed in myself. Looking for people who are also new to this so we can support and motivate each ofher.

Hi. I'm not exactly new, but good luck. I've done 6 complete weeks. Started again yesterday after the Christmas binge. How did your consultation go? I'm 5ft 3 and I weigh at the moment 14. 2lb so we r similar and I have a bit to go still. I've lost 23lbs so far well after the Christmas period that probably changed, I weigh on friday.

Hi and welcome :) I am similar stats to you as I am 14st 13lb at 5ft 5 tall and so wish to lose 62lb. I am day one today on SS+ but still with no food, just meal replacement packs. Have you done CD before or is this your first time? Im really looking forward to following your progress and giving you lots of support :) Sarah x

Hello cambridgers! I'm starting Exante today but very similar so mind if I join?

Whats td the difference between sole source and SS plus?

Good luck all!

Hi, yes the diets are pretty much the same aren't they. You just don't have a consultant? Ss + is 3 meal replacements plus a 200 calorie meal. Or 4 meal replacements and 200ml of milk. Then ss is just the 3 replacement meals:) do u have much to lose Dietninja

3 stone to get down to BMI 25, and I'd like to lose another 1/2 to 1 stone on top of that depending on how I feel. How about you?

Hello & welcome hope you get on ok. Cambridge is a fab diet :)

Another 4-5 stone. Depending how I feel in myself to after losing 4 stone.

I was very happy before at 10 stone, so another 4ish stone to go. Ideally i would like to be between 9 and 9 1/2. But im not to worried about getting there if im happy.

Hi, mind if I join you? I started Exante today just until I manage to get an appointment with my Cambridge counsellor. They are pretty much the same diet but I find the weekly weigh ins with a counsellor motivates me when I feel weak. So today went okay. 3 packs so 600 calories and 3 slices of Quorn Turkey slices which adds around 50 calories and 30g Carbs more. I have a banging head ache and can't sleep :). I didn't drink enough water but even so I'm up and down to the bathroom every 5 minutes. Plan on drinking more tomorrow but may invest in a catheter!! ;)

Ah yes the weekly weigh-ins. Only reason why l rate CD higher than SnS - worth the money for the accountability! Sadly l have none close by so will count on you all to keep me honest:)

Never tried Exante but heard good things about it. That water sure makes all the difference...

Seriously, how does everyone cope with the constant toilet trips?

Hi there

I started yesterday. I'm on Step 2 as my BMI is over 40.
I'm still off work for the Christmas period so the frequent toilet trips are ok (I'm mostly at home this week, which makes everything easy). The water intake is so important, but I'm not looking forward to returning to work and being up and down to the loo every hour.

Mine is over 40 now again. Gods to think it was 25 at one point... But step 2 is courageous - l'm a food addict so l have to do away with anything at all;)

Good luck!

Hey, how are you getting on hun? X
