Hi everyone,

I am getting married in August so have finally decided to do something about my weight to feel better on my wedding day and honeymoon. Im hoping CD is the kickstart I need!

I met my consultant last night and have started today on step 2 (which I think will be more in keeping with my lifestyle as I like to do dance / exercise classes and I have to eat out with work etc). My consultant told me there isn't a great difference in terms of weight loss between step 1 and 2 so hopefully will still work well!

So its 12 o'clock - luckily i'm working at home today as having drunk my first 2 pints I have now been to the loo about 10 times!

I have so far had a plain porridge which was awful (lumpy with a weird taste) - im hoping it gets better! Im going to try a bolognaise for lunch.

So if anyone wants to buddy and share their experience I think it would help motivate me :)

Good luck everyone!

hi there, nice to meet you. I have done Cambridge before in the past and lost 33pounds (2years ago) i never regained the weight, i found this a great diet although i just had 3 shakes a day and one 200kal meal, hope you do well i can tell you from experiencing if you want to lose weight this diet is for you, its hard but worth it :)

Hey. I'm one week in, started step two yesterday (ss+ really didn't suit)
the plain porridge is a little better with cinnamon in if you blend it up a little with a stick blender.
The other porridges had a better flavour but similar texture, when I get into ketosis I plan to go to shakes for breakfast but for now I need the porridge to keep me fuller :)

Thanks for all the encouragement guys!

On day 3 now - my stomach is grumbling but im not im hungry as such - hard to tell if im just missing nice food lol! It is amazing however how I am learning I don't actually have to eat that much to get by - its all in my head :)

Tried the maple and pecan porridge this morning - its slightly better. Bars are ok and the ready made carton milkshake I liked. Also tried the Spag Bol and thought it was pretty good - highly recommend. Struggling with the milkshakes though - its the nasty floury backtaste!

So this weekend is the next challenge - having a weekend to myself (my other half is away) with no 'food' to focus on - any ideas ladies?

just keep thinking of reaching your goals nothing tastes as good as sexy feels! im on day 3 too and tempted my food all day but didnt give in, feel great now. Our bodies actually crave food when we are in fat burning mode so that's all good:)

Hey, I am on CWP Step 2, I did it in september for a few weeks and lost 15lbs! I restarted on Tuesday just gone so on day 2

I found I don't like the porridges anymore -- I had them the first week then went off of them! and I have my soups from my last time so I'll use them up and not get again.

I enjoyed the risotto and I rather like the spag bol. I found I will be just buying the chocolate and strawberry shakes with the risotto etc

What sort of meals are you eating? i had tuna cucumber and jalapeños for dinner was rushed as had evening shift and tuna was so dry but to be honest better than not eating at all! i missed having mayo and sweetcorn for sure!!

The day before i put my chicken in paprika and had it with broccoli - i have to chop the stems and just have the heads, it's amazing how much they weigh!! it was like 2 pieces of broccoli lol :(

I never know if it i am doing it correctly lol i think i just want to lose weight so much now and determined before my annual holiday in June as im at my biggest EVER im worried it won't work!!!

I am on 810 and just finished my first week and lost 5lbs - went to the gym twice but stuck to it all week. Hope I have the same again next week and then I will feel I'm on my way. I find the weekdays ok but the weekend was hellish - let's hope we can stick it together!

So I did 6lbs my first 810 week, was up at Alton towers so was on loads of water and my products, then a chicken salad, and the loss on the scales made it worth while!
Today I am baking cakes, it's amazing how many times I've had to stop myself from licking my fingers! You don't realise how engrained in these habits are, till you have to watch them!
