I followed someones advice here and mine was fab tonight as well!! Put the water in the freezer for about 15 mins, then mix the MaM wth the shake powder...then whizz it in the blender for a minute, then scrape the sides and whizz it for about 20 secs more...then pour into watever your using and leave it to set (I give mine 15 mins in the freezer)...yummy!! And best of all...no lumps!!

ooh put on the spot now lol.

Well I put the water in the freezer till it started to ice up instead of putting it in the fridge for a while. I used the exact amount it tells you to use too.

I mixed half a pack of choc mint with the scoop thoroughly (very very thoroughly) and crushed 2 sweetener tablets and mixed them in too.

Then I mixed the powder with a little bit of water to get rid of lumps before adding the rest (not sure if that worked all that well though I still had a lump in there but better than loads of lumps) and blended it for ages till it was all frothy then put it in the fridge to set.

just followed instructions really lol but I never quite managed to get it to work well before now. don't know what I was doing wrong but all the past attempts just made me want to be sick. Maybe it was just the flavour of the pack that did it, who knows?

I dunno where I saw it!! Was definately on this site somewhere!! I made some d other night, with water fromt he fridge and it was rank!! Somehow, the nearly frozen water seems to be the key....actually I think Russiandoll (Debbie) had posted somewhere about mixing the MaM with the shake before going near the water.....

I knew about mixing them together before putting them in the water because Isobel told me about that when I bought it off her. I think the fridge water or using too much or too little or whatever must have been where I was going wrong.

I never put the sweeteners in any other time either so that could be what has made all the difference to the taste

A mousse made from a tetra is really lovely too, you might want to try it. It's really thick and creamy. Add water to the tetra or it'll taste too rich and that way you get a really huge bowlful too.

    Enjoy!!!!!

That's exactly how I do mine, and how I tell my clients to make the mousse too. Works every time ... delicious!

I don't get tetras on LL but can't wait to have a go at making a mousse with shakes. (in fact I don't really know what one is, it sounds like a type of dinosaur ) Thanks for the recipes !
