    Diet: Cambridge Diet

Red face Amazed at the will power!

Well what can I say! Day 5 of the Cambridge Diet and so far I have been to two kids parties (with LOTS of excess food for the parents) and have met up with friends twice this week and have, on all occassions, resisted the desire to eat the wicked looking chocolate brownies! I am amazed at this as I am a terrible comfort eater and indulging in excesses has become the norm instead of the exception. It has made me realise how much I continually binged! The inspirational slide show is amazing and well done to all that are on there!

This is my dark hour (anything from 9pm until bedtime) I tend to sit and relax from the days events but I get the munchies like mad - any hints and tips on how to stop thinking about food would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

    Day 1: 14stone, 13lbs

new member - day 4 and struggling

    Hello soon to be slim
I am on day 4 of lipotrim and am struggling a little today. I too find from 8pm onwards the hardest as I want to be picking in the kitchen. I've resorted to going to bed earlier or a hot bath (trouble is no wine to relax in bath) but all apart of changing habits I suppose. Also a walk helps if weather not too bad.

Hi every-one else, the site is great and I'm so looking forward to Monday to see what I have lost in first week.

I felt very hungry today and thought it would be better than 3 previous days - any advice??

    xx Trish Mc

I don't have any advice unfortunatly on how to stop thinking about food as i toture myself with it on a daily basis and have a constant mind battle game going on...but i did just wanna say well done on getting to day 5 and resisting all those temptations at the parties.

I find coming on here helps me in the evenings, it's kinda thrown my social life off balance but if it keeps me on this 100% then it'll be worth it in the long run.x
    Lost 3 stone on Cambridge.

Now 1 stone to lose on Slimming World.

There is a reason I switched plans....??
I have no target, I don't care how long it takes me to lose it.....just as long as I do.x

Well done! That's a real test of your willpower. I think that's what's so good about this diet. It means you know the consequences of eating are far greater. When I have done other diets I have always thought that it's ok to pick at this and that and it pretty much always leads to bingeing! But with SS you know the rules are DONT EAT!! Haha!!

Anyway, well done and good luck with your first weigh in x

Determination is the key to this diet, and resisting temptation follows it. Keep up the good work and just think about how much weight your losing. I had a moment when i was craving food, but didn't eat as reading everyone else's posts and their weight loss keeps me going. Plus if you do it on SS it can make you hungrier, making you want to eat more, and slowing down your weight loss.
