Scales advice please

Back again!
Hello there

I'm in the process of setting up my CDC stall, just awaiting accreditation and amongst other things, need to get a decent set of scales. Can anyone recommend a good set, or can I buy them from Cambridge themselves? What do you other CDC's use?

Thanks all.

Thanks Brad, they look good. :)

I was trying to work out for ages that they got 31st of what? it suddenly clicked a moment ago you meant 31 stone. Doh!!!

I bought these ones Scalesexpress.com

but I got them from littlewoods online, cheaper....

my beloved 5lb fat blob weighs dead on 5lbs, (0 oz) on my scales, and that is on carpet with the specialist carpet feet (removeable) I had to find something to go on carpet you see.........and it's bloody accurate.

I bought these ones here a couple of years ago and they have been wonderful. No more putting on a couple of pounds within 5 minutes.

Measure everything and seem to be very accurate.

I didn't pay that price BTW. Got them half price for £30 :)

Those scales are fabby Helen.....my CDC had them and they are grand. The only thing I was worried about was embarassing peeps over the max weight range....couldn't be having that!!!

Thanks Coley, good that they work on carpet too and knowing that they're accurate is a must. Mine are so unreliable, I have to get a better set for my clients.

I've heard that Tanita scales are good, but a bit pricey, might have a look on eBay. Again, need that accuracey, my present ones give about 6 different reading consecutively, and so I weigh about 5 times and take the average! I don't think I'd impress any potential clients with them!!

Not much happening on eBay, but all three scales recommended to me (thanks guys) I've seen at £44.99 at various sites on't internet, so probably go with one of them. I'll have a good look tomorrow.

Thanks all
