Rep Power: 0 ![]() Diet: Cambridge Diet | Hi Tiara I am 17st 5 at the moment (I was 18 stone 10 days ago!) and probably a size 22. I want to be anywhere between 11 stone and 9 stone, not sure what I will look like really as the thinnest I can remember is being 11 stone 8 when I was 18 and I felt really good, a nice size 12, I am a bit of an hourglass so dont want to go too thin but will see how it goes. I am a bit worried about what my boobs will be like at the end of this but its a silly thing to worry about as overall I will look so much better. I am going to have to have rules too as once I start adding the odd thing here and there its a slippery slope for me but my counsellor did say be liberal with the vegetables if i wanted to. I dont think I am in ketosis yet as I am feeling hungry but am only on day 2 of the 790. Sorry to keep asking questions but do you think balsamic vinegar will be ok, I love it for cooking and for salads xxx |

My Mood: Rep Power: 17 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Lifestyle | You're about the same weight as me at the moment. I originally wanted to be 10stone but thinking now 9 stone might be good but we'll see once I get to 10 then re evaluate. I'm 5'3 so the top end of my healthy BMI is 10stone. I would say while you're getting into ketosis do it by the book then you can experiment a bit more. I think Balsamic vinegar is ok...not 100% sure though. Sorry I can't help you more with that one but ask as many questions as you like. Tx |

My Mood: Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: CD | This one's good for BBQ's or when you're craving something burger-ish! It's good and chewy Mince your raw chicken breast (can do this in a processor also) - guess you could do this with quorn or tofu too? Stick in a bowl and and add 1 tbs fine chopped mushrooms Herbs or spices to taste - I've used basil and oregano, and chilli powder Black pepper About 1 tsp of bouillon powder dissolved in 1 dsp hot water Mix or squish it all together with your hands Form into 2 or 3 'burgers' Cook on 200 or over a BBq for about 15-20 mins Serve with 2 tbs salad or whatever you want... ROAST CHICKEN and STUFFING DINNER When I want to feel like I'm having a roast, or sulking on a Sunday!!! Cook your chicken breast and slice up Make up a sachet of chicken soup to muffin consistency and cook in the nuke as you would a muffin (a little longer if you want the 'stuffing' crispier) Serve with hot veg and bouillon powder 'gravy' if you like You can use 1/2 the soup as sauce for the chicken and the other half for the 'stuffing', too. Pleaaaase keep adding these as I'm running out of 790 ideas! Bagpuss xxx |

My Mood: Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Cambridge Diet | I just started 790 yesterday. I found the portions too big so i am divinging them into 2 meals. I was just curious about the milk. I dont drink alot of tea or coffee and i dont think i would like the milk in one of my milkshakes, so what kind of yogurt can i have. Just the plain natural kind?? Also what is the average loss on 790 per week. I am only 5 foot 1.5, so i dont know how i will do. But i am hoping i will do well this week because i have gone from AAM week to 790, so a nice progression there ![]() |

My Mood: Rep Power: 0 ![]() Diet: Cambridge | Hi i use plain fat free yoghurt and it does not seem to kick me out of ketosis, i think its actually lower in cals and fat than semi skimmed milk. I tend to have a chocolate mousse with 1tbsp yoghurt on top, it makes it like a proper dessert! Very nice after some chicken and mushrooms! |

My Mood: Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Cambridge Diet | mmmmmm, i think plain fat free yougurt would be much yummier than skimmed milk. I think i will have that. I might add a bit of spice to it and have it with my chicken. I was just wondering, how much plain yogurt can we have?? Would it have to be measure in tablespoons? Thank you xx ![]() |

My Mood: Rep Power: 0 ![]() Diet: Cambridge | i tend to just have the one as i was worried at first about it knocking me out of ketosis. a CDC may be able to answer although i dont think it is technically "allowed" on 790. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Cambridge Diet | When my CDC told me that i had to move onto 790, i mentioned that i dont really drink tea or coffee and i know i will not like the milk with my milshake because i am not too keen on skimmed milk. So she said that i would have to have some sort of low fat yogurt. So it might be allowed. I will ring her today or tmrw and ask her. I think i would stick with the 1 tbsp too. Well done with your weightloss so far Laura, it must be fab to ged rid of the first stone. ![]() Good luck with your weightloss journey xx |

My Mood: Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Cambridge Diet | I think everyone experiences a few problems at first. I remember on 2 occasions where i was just crying because i wanted food so bad. I also wanted to give up after my week 2 loss because it was low and i was missing food so bad. But i am so happy that i started CD and stuck with it, because it made me realise how much emotinal eating i used to do. I kept a diary and noted down everytime i felt hungry and why i felt it, whether it was emotinal/pshychological or physical. So now i can identify this better and change my ways of thinking, its fab. So i did alittle of my own therapy there, lol. Thank you for your kind words about my weightloss. Good luck with your weightloss xx |

My Mood: Rep Power: 23 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've just started 790 and am having fish curry tonight. My thoughts are to make a paste out of a small amount of curry powder and water and spread it on top of the fish. Then i'll bake it for a bit until it's cooked and serve it with a few vegetables. I suppose you could pre cook the food and then mix it all with the curry paste before baking it for a short while. This would make more of a curry dish. I'll let you know how it works out. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 3 ![]() Diet: Cambridge Diet 790 | I've just started the 790 plan after two weeks of sole sourcing and I'm loving it! I didn't do bad on sole source, I've lost about 15lbs in total now, but I was finding the 'no food' thing quite hard and started picking a little, which wasn't doing me any good. So I've moved onto 790 and now I wake up every day feeling great, just knowing that I can have some food! Apparently it only makes a difference of a 1lb a week on your weight loss, so if you usually lose 4lb on sole source, you'll still lose 3lb on 790!! :-) Sounds great to me :-) and it seems to be working! :-) I'm planning to have quorn mince tonight, dry fried with a load of vegetables :-) I wonder if we are allowed quorn sausages does anyone know??? I've also bought some tuna steaks which look lovely but haven't tried them yet :-)) Take care, Laura x |
