    Hi Ali,

It's normal to feel little dizzy, but I don't think you should be experiencing blackouts and shaking....could you call your CD...how many food packs have you had today?
    when was the last one?

    Hey Ali
Dont panic, I posted pretty much the same thing a while back! I was having exactly the same thing! Some1 told me it could be Postural Hypertension...

This can be a side effect and is especially noticeable in older clients.

Postural hypotension (low blood pressure) is not a disease process, but a condition associated with several different medical problems. This problem is characterised by a temporary drop in blood pressure when there is an abrupt change in body position [when a person stands or sits up from a prone position].

This may cause the patient who suffers from postural hypotension to feel faint, or actually lose consciousness upon standing.

Sometimes if you oversleep and the alarms goes off and you jump out of bed even when not on a VLCD you will experience a similar thing.

Just take it slower getting up from a laying down or sitting position.

Sometimes if you drink water you can flush out too many of the essential salts from the body also.

OR as it's only day 3 for you it could just be your body going through the final stages of detox and switching into ketosis!
When i had it it did pass! I just spaced out my water intake and moved around slower!
Hope this helps! Feel better soon! x

Im on LL...however concept is same...

have you drunk all your water for today? Is the dizziness there all the time? i know i get more dizzy if i have been cleaning or something kneeling down and then stand up!

has anything like this ever happened before wen you havent eaten for a long time...wen you was eating?

One reason maybe that your blood sugar could be low. However I'm not sure what would be suggested in CD for that.

Do you still feel the same as when you started this thread?

    love Naz

PS don't worry i'm sure you'll be ok.

    Yeah I'm sure it will.

keep drinking the water and as Claire said take it a little easier! Now thinking back...gosh only done it for eight weeks i'm making it sound like i've been doin it a year....This did once happen to me in the gym....it was so bad,,, dunno how i got home... neway jus took it very easy and it wore off!!

    so hopefully just keep going....

    Naz
