Trying to edit my Signature

I keep trying to update my signature and update with my first weight loss and it keeps saying to me:

Your signature cannot be longer than 500 characters including BB code markup

Can anyone help please?

As you only have 30 posts your signature space is limited.

When you reach 50 posts, you get even more signature space, and private messaging and emailing is enabled.
