You'll be able to lose some before you start CD Mat, I did slimfast to get me used to the shakes and limit my carbs/calories more than my normal diet.Worked a treat and I lost 6lb in one week. It's around 1200 calories so a good 'step down' from my normal diet anyhow.

This is a link to the thread about leading into SS it's great for slowing down your carb intake and had I read that in time I'd have followed that.. either way will ensure you're not 'carb ladden' before you start CD which will limit headaches etc from sugar withdrawl etc.![]()
