Feeling good - postive comments - followed by a negative..

    Why oh why!..

Over the last week have started to feel good and have a great feeling inside me where I just want to lose more and more. and feel better and better.

Sunday went for a long walk with the boys and stopped off at my husbands shop saw my mil and she said wow your looking great - followed with you have to be careful as on these diets u put it all back on after .. URGHHHh..

The week started good went to work and my boss that hadnt seen me for a while said OMG you look fab you have lost so much weight.. followed by another boss came out and said wow OMG you really have lost loads as the other one had mentioned it to him. Felt good although not good at taking compliments. (everyone seems to know someone that did it and then put it all back on)

Then a friend at work said to me you look great skinny .. hmm skinny I think not. I was like thanks. we went out at lunch and she said you know what you need to do is sit ups as you need to tone your stomach .. (OK.. one thing at a time please).. I thought ok my tummy might not be flat.. but leave me alone.

I feel like Im constantly saying to people any diet you do you can put it all back on ..

Wish everyone would leave me alone.

If you want to give me a compliment great but why follow it with a negative..

I FEEL GOOD whatever and not going to let anyone ruin it for me!! and I have everything in place for after.. so I wont be putting it all back on !!

Sorry just had to get that all of my chest!!!

You're doing brilliantly, don't take any notice of people's opinions. There will always be those who feel the need, even subconsciously, to make others feel less than great. That's their issue, not yours. Please can I have some of your willpower? xxxx

I agree with Paula, you're doing great. Perhaps though (like me) you may have some extra skin and needs toning?? Ok, it might be a negative, turn it round, perhaps do some toning and then thank the person in your head when you're tum is toned.

I think you're doing great... xx

I feel like that. Everyone keeps saying, yeah but you'll just put it all back on. Someone posted on a website I use, asking if anyone had lost a bit of weight and how. I replied, telling them all about Cambridge etc. The next thing someone comes along saying to be careful on Cambridge, it makes you very ill and as soon as you stop, you pile it all back on. She knows as she did. I just felt like saying, oh S0d off!

Quite right. Take those negatives, use them to boost your willpower and show the ******* who doubted you and the diet that you CAN lose weight and you CAN keep it off for good. Its double the pleasure, you get to be gorgeously slim and prove the moaning b*ggers wrong!!

And if all else fails.... point them in the direction of KD and some of the other amazing maintenance stories on here. Those piccies are proof in themselves!

I get all the 'be careful' and 'putting it all back on after' comments too, they are so annoying!

I just keep telling people that my Dr is happy that I'm on this diet! That I know that obviously I have to sort my head out while I am on it in order to deal with the issues that made me big in the first place. I know that I will never be able to go back to eating like I did before, but to be honest I don't want to anyway.

I have a channel on YouTube where I record a weekly video weight-loss diary so you can imagine that I get bombarded with comments. It's funny how a lot of the people who are negative actually have no idea about the science behind it all.

I made a video explaining it thoroughly and I think that has really helped. One person even told me that they did CD for a month then gave up. Then a few weeks later had to have her apendix removed and believes it's because of the CD...hmm.

The same person told me that her friend went from a size 20 to a size 10 then stopped it and put it all back on in a month! I find that so hard to believe!

Anyway I'm waffling now lol, but thanks to everyone on here and all the research that I and my husband have done, I do have answers for everyone's concerns.

You are doing so well by the way!
