    Hi A,

Welcome to MiniMins and good luck with your 'Skinny jeans mission'!

Be sure to take all your body measurements and photos now so that you can see your progress as you go along as sometimes it takes a while for the head to catch up with the body and it is easier to see your progress in photos rather than in the mirror.

Hang up your skinny jeans where you can see them to keep you motivated.

Believe you can do this and you will...one day at a time.

Best of luck on your weight loss journey.

If you need any help please ask.

    Love Mini xxx

Take photos. Make sure you are drinking lots of water. Try not to think about food. If you have one item you want to be in try it on, see how far you can get at and check every two weeks, getting those jeans further and further up your thighs will spur you on
On 810 and working my way up the plans.

Longterm goal is keep the weight off and tone up some more hopefully losing another dress size.

Good luck on your CD journey, take each day as it comes and as people have said try and keep your water intake up. It'll be so worth it in the end when you're at your goal and can fit into those skinny jeans!!!!

Oh wow ladies, thank you so much for the inspirational boosts!

Great advice - i think i will deffo take some pictures, and make sure I drink loads of water.

Just been having a quick look at all of your weight loss successes in your signatures - they really are motivational so well done on your determination to stick to it!

SunshineSinger - thanks for the tip will try it tomorrow! Bought two weeks worth of plain porridge from my CD without realising there was another flavour available, so this may be just whats needed to stop me from gagging on it!

Got through my first day on CD - whoop whoop! You are totally right - its a fab diet and can so see myself sticking to it and not giving in after 4 days! Thanks for the support guys!

Quick question about water - I just about managed 4 pints yesterday. Is this to replace the water you would have otherwise consumed with your food? Or more so for the potential constipation issue? Is 4 pints a good amount to drink or would you recommend more?

    Hi A,

I'd definaltely drink more.. I drink at least 2.5 litres now and if you have iced water it actually speeds up you weight loss too, found this out a few weeks ago and this time of year, its great to drink anyway. Drinking lots flushes out toxins and also the fat too and its also a dehydrating diet so you need to add more water anyway. Good luck xx

    Hey A.W..
Well done for getting through your first day..
If you have the tetras they do advise you drink more water. I try to drink about 3 to 4 litres a day but I know they advise 4 pints. If you can drink more it is good.
Well done your doing fab x

    Dear EternalFlame and CurlyWurly,

Thanks for all your fab advice. Yep thankfully i started CD at the time of year when its not so difficult to drink water anyway so will try and drink more. I have pre-warned everyone at work so hopefully they will understand when i keep popping to the loo every 15 mins!

Yippee! Held off weighing myself until at least 7 days had passed and ive lost 7lbs - im over the moon!

Im sure the rate will slow down now but im so glad ive lost something as i couldnt feel much of a difference clothes wise during the week, so i was so sure i hadnt lost anything, but according to the scales i have. Yippee! And 1 inch gone from my waist too! It really does work and i found the diet suprisingly ok to deal with - roll on next week!
