Inspiration and advice needed!

Hi all, can anyone give me advice on how to stick to the programme? I get to lunch time everyday and thing "a cappucino won't hurt" and then the diet is ruined. I can't even get past the first day! I have done Cambridge before and am returning for the third time. It seems a lot harder than the first time. :cry: I really want to lose weight and I know I can do it but willpower has left the building:sigh:
 
Hey! If you've done it before you can do it again, the negativity is all in your mind. That cappuccino will still be there in five weeks but the fat your trying to lose won't be! You just have to remove yourself from tempting situations.. Dont go to the coffee shop/kitchen etc and keep yourself busy. The time you would normally spend eating needs to be filled with something else. You just need to have a positive attitude and plan a treat for yourself for when you reach certain milestones in your weightless journey - that way you will have something to look forward to. It also helps to look at pictures people have posted - that's the one thing that keeps me going!! Good luck! xx
 
Thanks Deeberry12. I plan on starting again tomorrow. This time, no coffee, diet coke or anything thats not on the plan. Getting through the first 5 days is the worst for me. Fingers crossed I will do it this time!
 
HI there! I started last monday and have nearly lost a stone already! Keep that in mind when you reach for something... I felt bad until day four and now I'm full of beans! When you weigh in every morning and its DOWN again that is such a motivator! Keep going! :D
 
Thank you Jelliebabe. I started day 1 yesterday and lost 3 lbs. I managed to stick to it all day, just one little set back during the night. I was so hungry I ate a handful of dry cereal! Now that's desperation. However, I feel very positive now and am sure I can do it.
 
Ok i was the same!! I stuck to the diet ALL day and then after work and tea time came i always said... mmm i will just have this and start tomorrow, never got past the first day!!! Was soooo annoying! What i did was i stopped myself for that ONE day doing it and stuck to it for one day... was hard but i did it! Then after that day day 2 was better because i didnt want to have to restart that day 1 again. Hang in there hun get through day one and it will get better <3 xxx
 
i always get myself really busy if i feel the voice in my head trying to convince me to eat. i go and clean or start sorting out my smaller clothes. there is always something that needs doing plus going to bed early with water helps.

keep it going and soon you will be at target :)
 
Great advice Lots2lose36! I went to bed at 9.15 last night after doing all the ironing. Another 1/2 pound gone this morning!
 
Well done checky mare that's the way to do it keep going sometimes an early night helps us get away from the food and especially at the start of the diet there are tough days.

Yay!! That's great I get on the scales a few times a week to mine have stayed the same but I'm not worried I've stuck 100% and weigh in day not til Sunday plus our bodies hold on it it for a bit then it comes off :) just gotta keep at it no matter what the scales say x
 
You've lost so much already Lots2lose36. Nearly one stone in two weeks! I will look forward to hearing how you have done on Sunday!

Thank you checky mare, I'm hoping for a nice weight loss too. Today's been a struggle as its been a long long day but I'm not breaking the diet at all lol

My scales have gone on a go slow but that's ok it's water retention as the fat goes even if the scales play silly sods

Hi cheekymare- your weights are similar to mine!!!

Started 12.6
3 weeks this tuesday coming and so far I've managed to shift a stone so I'm quite happy about that!! My goal weight is 10 stone or just under like yours !!

I've had a few moments when I felt like giving up but my Saturday curry os chicken shaddock and mushroom Bhargi helps keepe sane!!!!

Good luck - I'm hoping for at least another pound before my 3 week mark Tuesday!! To make it to a 15lb loss x
