Back on the wagon..

Lost 4st on Cambridge about 9 years ago. Have since gone up and down in weight using other diets - and having a baby. But never to my heaviest.

I'm on a trend of going up in weight but have been weight training for the last year, have stopped this for the last couple of months but want to get my weight sorted for my graduation next year. So.. here I am restarting.

Today 204.5lb

Day 1 done and going strong today :) Feel really motivated so looking forward to what is to come.. Will be lovely to move back down into the 100's and get back to where I was at the start of the year around the end. :)

Am looking past the new year and xmas too into spring and a riding event I have in April as a pre-graduation goal. Will get me through the winter lull of bad weather, lack of daylight and uni work! lol

Hope you're all doing well today and on track. :)

Day 2 done 100% :)

In Uni tomorrow armed with shakes. I don't eat before I leave anyhow so nothing new there. :)

Appointment with my councellor is Friday, short of a week but will be great to see how I'm going. :) Keep me strong for Friday night too (normally treat night in our house).

Well TOTM came along today. Feeling pants, didn't make it to uni, though I was up dressed and on route.. I forgot my pin for my card at the petrol station! Cue hubby to the rescue and making me late so no point commuting in for 1 lecture. :( I know it's kinda funny and to be honest likely did me a favour as I'm shattered today. PMDD has been playing up the last week a bit (not as bad as it has been).

Good news is Friday to look forward to. I have my WI with my counsellor and then off to see my middle girl in her swim gala - end of the school lessons so they have some sort of gala which is nice. She swam 120m today, which amazed me I've swam a length with her but never tried two. She's had private lessons for a year before the school ones so must've done her good having the top up from school. :)

Food wise Day three today 100% - sooooo hard smelling food today though and I found myself looking in the cupboard for biscuits / treats earlier - I shut it quickly but I was there. Need to stop that. :copon:

Last shake to go.. thinking hot will be nice. :)

I have weighed myself on my own scales, as I'm a daily weigher but will try and not weigh next week, I won't update until I weigh with counsellor to keep it straight. :)

WI after 5 days had me 7.5lb down!! really pleased as this was during my Totm and after breakfast. :)
Looking forward to this weeks losses, all going well and enjoying. Stupidly forgot porridges so having a shake for breakfast, doesn't work as well for me but it's fine. I'll remember next week! lol

Hi Jane. It's looking like a fab week for you. Well done! I too am restarting after losing a significant amount last year and then piling it back on again plus more! :( I'm at 219 pounds and wanting to get to 126 which will be a lot less than I can ever remember weighing!
The downside is that I have to wait 2 weeks for my sachets to arrive as we've moved from the UK to Nigeria and I can't get them out here! If you'd like we could buddy up and get this weight off together!? Hannah xx

How are you getting on? xx

That would be great :) so sorry for not being around, laptop was away for repair. :(

Week 2 brings me to 14.5lb - I can't quite believe it and know that won't last, but chuffed Iam! lol My consultant is away for a week but FB'ing me regularly so that's nice.
Hope you have your shakes soon, is there anything like it out there i.e. slim fast etc that you could use while you wait?

How are you getting on? xx

Thanks for dropping by, thankfully doing well and 100% on plan! Am planning a blow out for xmas day but really want to stay on track. I keep thinking I could hit new year 2 stone down from where I was.. fingers x'd the motivation works! lol

I hit my get started goal, and am marching toward that xmas goal - I wasn't sure I'd make it as it seemed so much, but am thinking it's very do-able now and might even break it.

Just have to stay STRONG!

on a downside I did some work at the yard today and boy was I light headed, just wheelbarrow and water shifting to the field but had to take breaks when I wouldn't normally. I'm planning on riding tomorrow for the first time since starting the diet - fingers x'd all goes well even if it's just walking. Really need to keep my boy going.

I was finding it really hard not to be tempted before, but it's definitely easier this week, fingers x'd it stays that way. :)

I'm finding that today is a turning point for me. Haven't felt hungry at all. I was given some celebrity slim shakes by my friend but haven't had one yet. They have 40g of carb per serving and I'm sure the Cambridge shakes are around 14g so I just daren't risk it! I'm also planning a day off on xmas day then straight back to it as I turn 30 on Jan 2nd. 2 stone off by then would be brill but I'm probably over reaching a little there! Hope you have a lovely time riding! I too have had the brain fog but seem to be perking up now on day 8 xxx

Nooo those celeb slims must be like slimfast all sugar.. don't do it if you're on cambridge already. you'll kick yourself out of ketosis for sure. If you get hungry the SS+ allows a bit of food, I had a boiled egg the other day, can't say it was fab without toast and butter, but hey, it stopped me being hungry and was 'legal' :) I am on SS+ as have milk in tea a few times a day.

keep up the great work and if you don't hit that 2st then you wont' be far off! My birthday is 1st Feb so have a goal for that too. :)

I'm doing ss+ too so alternate with a little make in tea or chicken in the evenings. Well at least that's what I did last time. I'm currently just eating meat and veg. Missing those yummy shakes. I can't wait. My first order is 21 banana shakes so it will definitely be time for a change by the end of that week! xx

haha that is a LOT Of banana shakes.. not sure I could survive on that! :p

keep being good and I'm sure you'll do well, if not started Cambridge you could do the shakes then as they'll limit your calories intake. I have done that with slimfast till saw my consultant, doens't put you in ketosis but does limit calories. :)

I've been doing atkins and so am in ketosis already. It's not the best, my body knows I'm lacking the nutrients. Going to try and source some multivitamins from the pharmacy tomorrow xx

try adding some spinach in too, I did atkins along time ago and slacked on veggies if I'm honest. lol it does work though :)

Thanks for that hunni. I will give spinach a try xx

Ticking along nicely.. had a meal with friends today and managed just a chicken breast and salad - small salad. Was tiny on the plate, but really enjoyed it.

Mental note to get used to plates not being full of food, and also think about a smaller plate at home.

Chicken salad sounds lovely. Ridiculously where I'm living it costs around £8 for an iceberg lettuce! Safe to say I'm steering clear of them and buying locally produced veg. My shakes have arrived today. Can't wait until hubby brings the post home. A smaller plate sounds like the way forward. Maybe try a side plate? xx

I've been eating off a side plate, it definitely makes a difference to my mindset when i see food on it! lol
Yikes at the salad but it's not worth that money either, I'm not a big salad person (hence why I'm here..) salad to me is cous cous, eggs, pasta that sort of thing. lol

Well another 4lb down this week :) am happy with that as back to a morning weigh in. I've got my time of the month again this week (slightly early but that'll be cambridge playing around with my cycle). So holding tight to 100% as really REALLY want to get into the 12 stone range this week.

Hit my xmas target already 12 days early so I'm over the moon but now looking at my December goal and wondering if I chose too much.. I have these doubts! lol
