    Return of the Cambridge!!!

    Hi Guys,
    Just posting on the app so I hope I'm in the right forum as its a different layout compared to the desk top site. Anyways... I think this is my 4th time doing the Cambridge. When I first started the CWP I done pretty well and lost about 2 stone.. Anyways I went really lazy and just slipped back into my old eating habits. Tried to come back the 2nd time and I just couldn't get on with it, I was being sick and heaved at the thought of them. 3rd time round my usual councillor wasn't available so I had a young girl who has never had a weight problem... She was clearly there to earn the cash and go with no support... I turned to minimins and it was the strangers the other side of the screen, going through the same diet and.emotions. couldn't fault minimins xx well I lost most of my weight and was only 10 pounds away from hitting target. I also started feeling sick on the plan and so I started to try eating healthy. I was fine for about 10 months and then slipped into the junk slide.... So I am back again, I'm hoping to see my consultant this week so I can start the road of a better, healthier me. This time round I might do the ss+ because I love going to my gym classes. I'm going to try and concentrate on my clothes sizes rather than what I weigh and hope to get into those size 10-12s again. Would love to hear everyone else's journeys and look forward to spurring each other on x

    Hi Ciara,

    This is my second time too. Did SS+ last year and lost 4 stone. Maintained for a while but like you old habbits started returning and I gained half a stone. Decided to 'nip it in the butt' now before half a stone becomes 1 stone becomes 4 stones and I'm not sure if I would have the guts to start all over again. Am back to lose 4 stone on SS+ and today is my 2nd day. Saw my new consultant on Tuesday and I think her and I will get along just fine.I see our starting weights are the same! Good luck and wishing us both a speedy weight loss! x

    I was exactly the same... we just need to banish the old eating habits once and for all. Well done for coming back.. I think i might do ss for the first week and then maybe ss+ the week after? I will be seeing my councellor tonight to get weighed and the diet begins tomorrow.. Uhhh ohhhh. You will have to keep me posted on how you are getting on and i will also do the same.     Well i went to my consultant last night and i weigh more on hers than mine :-/ 14 stone 1. OUCH! so today is the start of the sole source journey with a banana tetra brick this morning. How are you getting on? xxxxx

    Hello! How have you been getting on? I've been ok, but am finding it very hard! I have heard others say they find their 2nd time on CWP hard, but never gave it much thought. But gosh I am struggling slightly! Taking a lot of will power to talk myself through these first days...lol. But I am determined to lose 4 stone, so not giving up! I am interested to see how my losses this time round compare to last time. I have heard that the more you have to lose, the more weight you lose. Hoping for at least a 4 or 5 pound loss on Tuesday. I would be happy with that! Fingers crossed..lol. Hope you are having a good weekend :-)

    Hey hun. I'm doing OK thank you. Not as bad as the last time I done it so that's good. However I am craving PIZZA day 1 was a little tough as I felt a bit sick. I get a little hungry but I know it passes so I'm just ignoring it. When do you get weighed hun? What's your stats? Xxx

    Hi Ciara, how are you doing? I've had my 1st WI today and lost 5lbs. Very happy with that. I am expecting slower losses this time round as I'm not quite as strict with myself (allowing myself some skimmed milk and having some slim rice/noodles with my evening meal. For me, this just helps me with not getting constipated (I suffered very badly the 1st time round!) and also makes me feel fuller. I have 4 stone to lose. Started at 13.10 and want to be 9.10 or 9.07 in the end. Hopefully before summer! Would love to feel good in shorts this summer! What do you do to take your mind off the hunger? I'm fining it so hard, but I'm still determined. I'm struggling with the water in winter! Do you have a family to cook for? I do and I find that hard right now, but again determined. Hope you are having a good day. When is your WI? xx

    Ahhh that's great hun, especially with having noodles in the evening too. Just shows you can still loose it and eat as long as you don't go mad no I no children its just me, my fella and dogs thank god or else I don't think I would be able to handle cooking for others :0 I tend to try and keep myself busy whether its walking the dogs, watching telly, films and so on to ignore the hunger. I know I shouldn't I've started to jump on the scales and when I see the figures it makes me stick to the diet. At 5ft7 I was weighing 14st 1 I've weighed myself today and apparently 13st 7. My official weigh in is thurs eve but I'll also do a weigh in the morn too just want to get down to 10st 7 arghhh. Are you craving anything in particular? I just want breadddddddd xxx

    I'm craving all sorts of chocolate! Its my downfall in life and of course we are nearing Easter and EVERYWHERE I go, all is see is chocolate!!!...lol. Wow, you are doing well already! I have decided to go an buy a pair of jeans or jeggings the next size down and have it as my motivation! The last couple of days when the weather was a bit better and felt a 'bit' spring like has given me some motivation to want to fit into nice clothes. Also, going away on holiday to France in August and want to look semi-decent in a costume! I seem to be dreaming of food every night, eating it, cooking it, smelling it....lol!! x

    Awwwww - dont you find having the choc shakes help? I LOOVEEE chocolate but when im on the diet i dont tend to crave it because of the shakes. However, that may change because ive really gone off the choc shakes.. they are starting to make me heave Ohh well xxx Im just purely craving bread, pizza and basically carbs...oh and cheese <3 Definately thumbs up for buying a smaller size as an incentive, i know that helped me in the past. You can do it chick and you will hahah well if you are eating in your dream, just make sure you eat everything in sight, that way you will be literally living the dream minus weight gain haha xxxx
