Hi there!

So this will be the third time I have started CD (Although the second time hardly counts, I lasted 2 days!).

The first time, I had great success doing SS, I lost almost two stone, and dropped below 11st for the first time in ages, then, gradually, I gave up. Eating little bits here and there, got a bit ill. Then just stopped.

I ate TERRIBLY! And as a result...I put it all back on, plus MORE! Ridiculous.

Since then, my circumstances have changed dramatically.

I am back in a stable and long term relationship (i.e happy and comfortable), and I have graduated uni FINALLY! (meaning less stressed, anxious and depressed) AND I have a full time, 9 to 5 job. Hooray! With all that, I would hope I would feel like I had my life under control, be more motivated and have it all figured out.
Yet I find my self at 13st 6lbs! The heaviest I have ever been, my joints ache, I am unfit, and none of my clothes fit.And I am un motivated, because I am happy and comfortable. I so so so want this to work, I want to flip a switch in my brain and feel prepared to give this all I've got.

This time I am starting on SS+, though I wonder if that is the right decision. I am rubbish at controlling what I eat, and this won't work if I break ketosis.

I'm wondering if I should try SS for at least a week, to kick start things?

Hi gem welcome, only u can answer which plan is best for you. U say your feeling un motivated yet you are on here getting u r ready to start so a part of you must want to start this diet and go for it! Focus in that part of you. Good luck xx

Heya!

I too lost weight with Cambridge and put some back on, so I know the feeling!

I think think with this diet it's really important to have your head in the right place, it's very hard, and you've got to have that motivation. But you can find it! Imagine how you'll feel at target, all the things you can do that you can't now.. Try and find your willpower and then just take each day as it comes

good luck!

(Ps I'm a whole foot taller then you- that's crazy haha!) x

Hi gem

Well done for restarting!!

I'm also a restarter having done pretty much the same as you!!

Personally I'm starting in SS as I reckon if I SS+ I won't be able to stop!!! ?

How you found today??

Well done on re starting, im restarting next week on Sole source and plan to stay till the end this time. It's so easy to come of the plan and get back into bad habits, I won't be doing that this time:)
