CAN'T CHANGE IT BACK NOW...

Hi jools,
I feel the same as you today, omg i feel so tired i could sleep for a week ! I have no energy at all, on the walk to school my legs felt like lead. I am so tempted to eat right now to make me feel better - but i know it would only be temporary and hopefully it will pass soon so will have to see it out.
I don't know about you, but checking in on here really helps, just to see how you're doing and to know you are going thru usually the same as me ! I hope you were ok last night and managed to get thru the rest of the day without cheating ! I try and save my packs for as late as i can, i only just had number 2 (strawberry-yum) but usually i've had them all by now lol:eek:
Anyway time to be nosy....
How many kids have you got, and how old etc ? Are you married or do you have partner ? Are you working or a full time mum ? I've got 4 kids, Kieran is 12, Chloe is 10, Conor is 5, and Keavey is 21 mths. I'm married to Tim, who is a bus driver, and 20 yrs older than me lol ! I don't work at the moment, i went back to my job as a breastfeeding worker last year after mat leave, but ended up packin up cos of child care problems. I've just started college on a part time access course, so i can hopefully go to uni and be a teacher. Feel very old at college seeing all the teens me at the grand old age of 31
Anyway, take care, Be good
love Brina x

Hi Brina,
Blimey, you have your hands full!

I have three kids - an 11 year old boy and 6 year old boy/girl twins (I remember the joys of trying to breast feed twins - glad those days are over). I'm quite a bit older than you but I don't old - probably due to my toy boy husband and my very young kids! I work part time teaching post grads. Don't worry you are a nipper. We get all ages nowadays. I have even taught people who are close to retirement age. Some want to do it for career reasons, some just want to do it. What are you studying? And, more imporantly, how on earth do you find time for it??

Are you doing SS or something else?

Hello ! How are you doing ? Feeling really good as i can tell my clothes are getting looser, but bit apprehensive re tonight as i'm supposed to be going to the pics, and i know i will be tempted to cheat !
I'm on a humanities access course, which includes english lit, sociology, maths, and study skills. I'm taking it over 2 yrs instead of 1, so next year i'll do history and social policy, and science. Finding the time isn't as hard now i'm not working, as i'm in college 4 half days a week, and i've just got a place in the nursery for Keavey, so even better ! My friend picks Conor up from school, and the older 2 make there own way home. Sorted ! Do get stressed a lot though when the house is full lol:eek:
What do you teach post graduates ?
Wow - twins AND you breastfed - well done you, thats no mean feat !!! I fed all of mine, but feeding ones a doddle to 2 ! I've helped many a struggling mum to feed multips !
So how is the diet going for you ? I'm feeling really optimistic right now, but i'm not sure how long it will last, so i'm making the most of it right now.

Anyway, enough from me for now, take care and have a good weekend x

Hi Brina

Hope you enjoyed the pics. You will need new clothes soon! lol! or have nice ones that you have owned whcih will fit much more nicely.
Keep going with the course it will be worth it in the end. I have three children and did a social work course as a mature student. It was hard as other epople were all thinking about the latest pair of jeans and the next night out and I had to worry about family. But getting the qualifications will give you a boost of confidence and help you go where you want to be.
The diet works - honest! Its not a case of being optimistic but realistic! I have done slimfast and slimming world - the latter several times - but in the end put the weight back on. Also with each pregnancy ended up weighing more each time. I think knwoing I might have another preg didn;t help with my diets as I thougt I will only put it all back on again.
But this time I found cambridge, also found the forums and had a buddy at work. Its been great and I have gone from a size 20 to a size 12/14. The difference is amazing - My mind hasn't caught up fully and I still feel ike a big girl. The first few days on the diet are a bit tricky after that the water and ketosis kick in and you feel great. I found the challenging times were nights out and social events as so much food is involved. Just drink lots of water, keep an eye on the bowel movements(lol!!) and you will be fine. Honest!

Hi brina,
How did the pics go? Still being good? I have cheated a little over the last couple of days (damn those cashew nuts!) but I think I'm half a stone down from Monday which is fab fab fab! I still think you are doing great to be doing your course with four kids. I find three a handful at times LOL.
Feeling really good at the moment though. Feeling like I can really do it this time. Half a stone makes such an enormous difference to me in the way I look and the way I feel. I don't feel fat now. Okay, I don't feel slim either but another half a stone might make just as much difference.

Hello !
the pics was rubbish, we watched strangers - don't go to see it, was very predictable and boring. Well done on your loss thats fab. I've got my wi with cdc tonight, have been weighing myself as well so will see what the difference is !
I cheated a bit yesterday, i made sunday lunch for tim and kids, and ended up having some chicken (no skin !) and veg, but then i pinched a rostie as well ! and a bit of stuffing ! ah well, none of us are perfect are we ??!!
Still enjoying my course, did maths this morning and got over my fear of multiplication and division which i have barely done since school lol.
Glad your feeling strong right now, i must admit my optimism is a bit wavering today, i don't know why theres no reason for it, but i do feel hungry today so i suppose that doesn't help. Hopefluuy will feel better when i've seen cdc tonight. Also looking forward to getting some more choc tetras - i discovered freezing them then eating as ice cream - omg they are yum !!! Have you tried it ?
anyway, bye for now, take care
brina x

Hi Brina
I don't like the tetras at all - they have an odd taste to them. But I have made crisps with the oriental chilli and the veg soups - really yummy. I'm not going to SS from now on. SS+ suits me better. Having a little chicken or cottage cheese will help me avoid going AWOL. Good luck for tonight.

Hello !
not been on a couple of days been v. busy !
I lost 8lbs with my cdc, but since then i've really struggled. I think not been able to get on here hasn't helped at all, plus went shopping with my slim friend yesterday and she was wanting to buy lots of food i love, and ate chips in front of me etc, and it was so hard i just gave in. Then last night i just ate and ate cos i thought well i've blown it now i might as well.
What an idiot !!!:mad::break_diet::cry::sigh:
Not happy.
Have got back on the waggon today though, so will see how long i can keep it up for now lol
How are you doing ? I don't like the tetras either, but the choc one frozen tastes different than when its liquid, i don't know why - it was nice tho !
Take care x

Hi Brina - Take it you are doing SS. Why not try a higher plan for a while.I am doing 810 and find being able to eat with OH and children a real plus, dont think i could cook and walk away at the moment. If weight loss stops i can them move down a step and still have a 200 calorie meal. Sorry you are having a rough couple of days sending lots of hugs by email XxX :0)
