    Linds xx

You make as many as you need and to address anything you need to address. The key to to keep reading them and applying the "lessons" in them.

The Beck Diet Solution does work IF you stick with it.

I'm telling myself to restart this book from today in so much need of it right now.
Shanny's life will be pulled by goals, just as surely as it can be pushed by drives.

Hi girls. Noticed this thread had been running for a while. Have started to read it but not made it through all the pages yet.
Just bought the book and started yesterday. Would be interested to know if those of you that did it a while ago would say it worked? Those of you who say you are starting to read it again, is that because it did/didn't work the first time round? Well done on all your successes! I hope I can follow in your shoes!

As long as I was using my ARC and following Beck it did work for me. As soon as I let it go, I started slipping back into my old bad habits and have had a regain of most of what I lost (about 1.5 stone).

I am still working on relosing the weight I regained and getting to my goal weight -- and I will follow Beck's advice and never allow myself to bump about the top of target without doing something to take the regain off when it is still just a few pounds.

I am back at it as of about 12 days ago in earnest. I lost 4.5 pounds last week and have manage to stay the course this one. (I expect a smaller loss, but am hoping for at least a pound.) At this slow rate of loss it may take me several months to get where I want to be, but since I have not made any progress in months -- any if a step in the right direction.

Good luck. Getting the weight off is only a part of the battle -- it is learning to keep it off that has been the true struggle for me. This is where Beck will help me.

    Great thread girls.
I am only day 6 of SS and have a long way to go but lost a lot of weight 10 years ago and as others have said I just didn't think like a thin person and all of the weight plus more went back on. I want to prepare my brain as much as possible this time.
    Week 1 loss = 11lb ( TOTM )
    Week 2 loss = 5lb
    Week 3 loss = 5lb = 21lb in 3 weeks !
Week 4 loss = No WI due to being away !

    Month 1 total loss = 21lb

    Week 5 loss = 4lb ( TOTM ) 10 inch loss overall

    Week 6 loss = 3lb total in 6 weeks = 2 STONE ! ! ! !

    Week 7 loss = 4.5lb

    Week 8 loss = 4.5 lb

    MONTH 2 total overall loss = 38lb !

    Week 9 loss = 5lb

    Week 10 loss = 3lb ( TOTM )

    week 11 loss = 3.5 lb

    week 12 loss = 3.25lb TOTAL IN 12 WEEKS = 3 STONE 10LB !

    Hi,

I am that Beck will work for you. It should -- if you follow the days and keep working on the days that take you some time to master. I got stuck on making exercise a part of my life (still struggle with this).

I am pretty good at sitting to eat, eating thoughtfully and mindfully, waitng 20 minutes (usually) if I think I am still hungry, drinking my water, etc. However, I am still working on things and need to keep at it.

    Good luck.

I got mine from Amazon, it's called the Beck Diet Solution by Judith Beck. It's actually really good, I was great while I worked through it, but unfortunately didn't keep it up. I would totally recommend it, it's enlightening. The ARC cards are basically cards you produce yourself to read everyday to help you. You make more as you go along.
