You could download the MiniMins app, simply search the App store for MiniMins.
Other good apps are the BBC news, social network stuff (if you use them) facebook, twitter. Skype is good. Viber is also becoming very popular (free phone calls and txt's).

Libra is a free weight logging app, it gives goal date, and has a nice graph on it, that you can share once you make it a photo. Its brill for daily weighers!
I like Waterlogged. It's free and it encourages me to drink my water target - something that I struggle with.
