Hiya everyone, hope you are all well

What are your plans for eating over Christmas?
Will you try to stay in ketosis?
Xx

I'm not sure what we're doing Christmas Eve, though it has in previous years been a tradition when we're at home to get a takeaway. I'm planning on being 100% to plan for breakfast and lunch that day so we shall see. At the moment I'm thinking that I'll be good and have a hot shake for tea while watching Christmas movies on the TV!

Christmas day is at my In Laws this year. They never eat breakfast on Christmas day and just pick until a late lunch around 3-4pm. This year I'm going to have a bar for breakfast to help avoid picking and then I will have Christmas dinner. I'm not a huge fan of potatoes, so I'll maybe have 1 and some stuffing with my meal; along with 1 cider. I'm going to work really hard on keeping my water intake up while I'm there as well - which is normally my weakness. I'm thinking we might take their dog out for a walk as well Christmas morning just to be out of the house and away from the sweets!

On Boxing Day we're travelling up to my parents for a week. I'm planning on doing a sort of SS+/Step 2 style week then anyway as I'll have been on SS for my 12 weeks by that point. I'm planing on Porridge for Breakfast, Bars for Lunch a sensible small portion of tea with the family in the evenings and then a chocolate shake for tea.

For me Christmas this year is all about damage limitation. If I come out of it with just a 10lb gain I'll be well over the moon!

Sounds like you have a fab busy Christmas planned and you are forward thinking. Have a great time Xx

I will Deffo be having a Christmas dinner on xmas day. I'm not going to go mad and stuff myself silly. A small portion. That will be too hard for me sat with the family, not eating.
Then back on shakes until new years eve. Then back on news years day.
I'm sure that won't do too much damage, I hope:)

i plan on having the xmas dinner again, a smaller portion than normal. thanks wasanifu of the idea of having the bar/shake in the morning think i ll do the same. my plan is to be step 3 or4 by then so going to enjoy the day and back on it the next day.

I wasn't sure what to do but don't want the family to feel bad around the table so will put turkey & veg on my plate and see how I get on, certainly no gravy, pots or Yorkshire puddings for me.

I'm gonna have an Atkins meal on Xmas day nice bit of steak and il need to see what else I can have it's just me and my partner for Xmas day my parents wanted me to have dinner with them but I'm Italian and that meal has way too many carbs to resist lol so just the two of us for dinner partners been really supportive and helping
