I originally started the plan last November weighing 1lb short of 21 stones. I've been trying for years on different diets to find something that suited me and worked quickly all to no avail. Finally I came across the CWP (CD as was) later last year and had great success with it.

I quickly lost 3.5 stone but then I guess I got complacent and started reverting back to my old habits. After a gap of 2 months I'd put just over a stone back on.

Getting back on the horse, I decided to dedicate myself to 100% SS and have lost 10lb in the first 5 days. Next weigh-in is on Saturday and I can feel big changes in my body this week.

Week 36 WI

Sat July 3rd 2010 | Week 36 = -10lb | Overall = -48lb :D

I hadn't seen much of a shift on the scales earlier this week so I kind of stopped checking. I knew something was happening though, because I could feel my clothes getting looser again. Imagine my delight when I clocked a loss of another 10lb at the WI!

I'm now back at my lowest weight on CWP and half a pound shy of being halfway to my goal weight.

I'm really, really pleased with myself, especially since the idea of 'rewarding' myself with a take-away or something dissolved as soon as it popped into my head. Why sabotage this wonderful process?

Instead I'm going to reward myself with one of these smoothie makers that I've heard everyone going on about. My CWPC says they're the best invention ever so I'm going to get one on Monday.

Now I've lost 3.5 stone and I'm half-way to goal I'll take another set of pics and update my before and during thread. If I can get this far, anyone can!

Despite sticking to SS 100% and drinking at least 3l of water every day I only managed to lose 3lbs this week.

I shouldn't really complain after 2 weeks of 10lb losses, should I?

However, I'm now over halfway to my goal weight and I'm only 4lbs short of losing 4 stones in total so far!

I'm not at all hungry these days, and I'll be sticking to SS for a while yet until I get near my goal. I have a couple of social events coming up over the next couple of months, but I'm confident that I can stay in control sufficiently so it won't affect my losses too much, if at all.

I treated myself to some new duds recently! I optimistically went into Primark in town and got myself some new 40" waist jeans and some of their XL shirts and t-shirts. The jeans fit me just fine, they're actually a little slack on the waist. The t-shirts were the biggest revelation as they used to look like they'd been sprayed on me but now they look really good and I have some room in them!

To put this in perspective, I just about managed to wear 46" jeans when I started and I was only really comfortable in XXXL t-shirts. I can go into a normal shop and get normal-sized clothes now!

I'm starting a weights program next week that I can do 3 times a week at home. I don't need any special gear for it as I already have some loose weights and stuff. I'm going to be starting off really easy this time, and watching my progress as the weeks go on. I've heard that a little extra muscle mass does wonders for raising the metabolic rate so I'll let you know how I get on.

Please do comment, as the feedback is really encouraging - it lets me know I'm not just talking to myself here.
