Slightly chubby girl slim < hopefully>

Blimey. This site isn't easy to navigate is it? I'm probably duplicating myself left, right and centre.

Anyway, hello! I am fairly new to the CWP and so far, so tedious. I started a few weeks ago, weighing in at 12 stone 4lbs and within a week I was a fairly inspiring 11 stone 11. I then fell heavily [ with my mouth open ] onto a whole pile of cherry bakewells and kettle chips and am gutted to have put back on a few pounds. So, today, I re start, weighing in at 11 stone 13lbs.

I am 5 ft 4 and ideally would like to reach 10 st 13 and then see how I feel. Am currently a dress size 12/14 and would love to be a small 12 as opposed to a vanity one!

    So, today's delicious menu!

Breakfast - a revolting mint bar thing. Truly vile. Like cardboard but less appealing.

    Lunch - Mushroom soup. Alright I s'pose.

Dinner - A fruits of the forest shake made into a mousse - although quite unlike any mousse I have ever tasted before.

Plus 2 litres of water, forced down. Hardly Pepsi Max is it? Still, needs must!

That's today's hell over with. Currently in bed to stop myself scarfing a load of cheese.

I'd love some buddies to chat with, regardless of where you are on your journey or what plan you're following.

    Come and say hello!

    Hello!

I started just yesterday! I have done the plan before successfully and after having a baby and almost 3 years of ups and downs I am back! Have you found any shakes that you actually enjoy? When I did this previously, I only ever ordered in chocolate shakes and nothing else! Love them, they are what will keep me on track if anything.

If you need moral support just shout! My diary is linked on my signature! Best of luck xxx

Oh good! A person to chat to! I'd love to link to your diary but being so new, alas, it won't let me yet.

Umm, shakes I enjoy? 'Enjoy' is possibly the wrong word but I quite like choc mint and fruits of the forest. They are almost a pleasure to drink. Not fond of banana or mango. Oh, and toffee and walnut is good too. As for the bars - mint choc was a crashing disappointment - am hoping that chocolate will be better!

Good luck yourself - how much did you lose before?

Welcome! I just laughed my head off at your first post, 'falling mouth open on to a pile of cherry bakewells'

I've also restarted this week after having a terrible weekend. You've not got much to lose so you'll not have to endure the shakes for long! I only have the chocolate pre-made tetra shakes (out of pure laziness) and chocolate orange bars.

When is your next weigh in?

I liked the peanut bar! But I have to be careful with the bars and they can knock me out of ketosis if I have one every day of the week. I lost 4st previously doing CD and it is so worth it! haven't got far to go either so you should be there in no time! x

***** - I can't have a bar a day?! <wails > Maybe I won't have one tomorrow. Umm, not that I'm in ketosis yet - no matter how many sticks I have scrutinised today!

Hi Felix - I tried a chocolate tetra. I cunningly froze it and kidded myself it was like Haagen Daz. I 'quite' liked it but it tasted a bit...dunno... bitter? The aftertaste.

I am REALLY hoping that I manage to stick to it - as you can see from my first post, the 'yay yay go me ' type euphoria after my first weigh in did NOT motivate me to keep on the straight and narrow so I am re doubling my willpower and taking it a day at a time. Next weigh in is on Monday, which right about now feels like some time in October. Here's hoping I make it! How about you? Have you lost anything? <Apart from the will to live >

Thankyou! I was 100% for 6 weeks straight then introduced the add a meal week and so on. You may well be ok with a bar a day, everyone is different. I also have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome so carbs are a major nightmare for me anyway and the bars have more carbs in them, typical!

I am only day 2 right now so I haven't weighed yet, am hoping to be a good girl and not sneak a peek until weigh in day on Monday, which I agree, it does feel like its some time in October!!! x

Hello Rachel - thanks for your good wishes. You've done very well - are you SS?

Well it's day 2 in the house of pain and no eating. I have been busy twatting about on the internet this morning so have only just eaten my first item of the day...and it was a bar! I cunningly chopped up two bars last night into 14 pieces [ chocolate and toffee ] and then mixed them up, put them in two separate bags and froze them. Trying to kid myself that it would be like some kind of mad pic 'n mix as I grabbed a bag this morning. It absolutely wasn't and I nearly broke several teeth in the process of eating them but it was 'ok.' Edible I suppose. Does everyone else feel the same? That everything is 'ok' but nothing much more than that really? Having said that though, not sure what I was expecting from a meal replacement diet.

I've added some summer berry powder to my 2 litre bottle of water. Can't say I'm enjoying it but hey ho. Vive le difference - I was fed up with just plain water yesterday. I wouldn't say I was a fizzy drink addict but usually have at least 2 cans a day - Pepsi Max being my poison of choice. It's full of crap though so it won't hurt to cut it out. I did read that you can still have a can of coke zero a day - not sure if I'll bother. I am craving cakes, not drinks.

So... the plan for the day is as follows...

    1. Don't eat cake

    2. Drink 2 litres of council pop

    3. Have a shake for lunch - I may go MAD and have toffee and walnut

    4. Have another one for tea.

    5. Try not to think about the chocolate croissants that I can hear softly calling me from the kitchen with their soft, chocolatey, buttery little voices. The *******s.

How is everyone else? What's the plan today sherrie?

    Back later

Hey, yes I'm Ss ing.. Had a Chinese last night so knocked myself out of ketosis and feel a bit pants today. Had a bar for lunch and that's it so far, other than a million cups of tea.

I really like the choc mint shakes....more than any of the others. Don't go near the butterscotch or vanilla they are evil...IMO....*shudder*.......some people say when you first start you can taste all the vitamins and stuff in the shakes and that's why they aren't as nice but you do get used to the taste and after a few days they do improve lol

I haven't had a Vanilla one as doesn't appeal but yes, Butterscotch was not a particularly pleasant experience have to say.

OK, another day over with. Completely bored with it but ploughing on stoically. Like a donkey.

Tomorrow I am going to do a few things..

    1. Buy some sparkling water. To this I will add some of the drink powder stuff and kids myself it's a fizzy drink

    2. Not have a bar. Although I don't think they are impeding any weight loss, they are not very nice.

    3. Go and swim 25 lengths of the local pool.

Think that's enough to be going on with.

I have also been thinking about life after CD - yes, already! I only intend to do this until I see '10' something on the scales. According to today's illicit weigh in, this is about 10lbs away. I do NOT want to be doing a meal replacement plan for the long term as I just know I'll end up chewing my arm off or summat. I intend this to be a fast way to shed a stone. I just need to think about what i will eat to lose a little more weight once I am 10 stone something.

SW maybe? Obviously I am very attracted to their ethos of stuff your face with lots of food and we'll call it 'free'

    Hope we're all well!
