I am on day 4 today and feeling surprisingly ok this time, ( I normally struggle and talk myself out of it). Determined to change this time xxxxx

Hi Dragondrop. I actually did pretty well. I think the hardest part was not popping open the diet soda. I always had one in my hand. I guess much like a smoker, it gave me something to do. Not really missing the food as much as the soda. Great to hear that you're still feeling positive on day 4. And, I know what you mean about struggling and talking yourself out of it. I find myself, this time, reminding me to stay on target.
bigmick - I did rather well. I'm really surprised. How are you doing?

It's not fair, next door neighbour is cooking a BBQ. And it smells unreal, I don't think my vanilla shake is going to hold me.

Good job on staying strong, Big Mick! I did pretty well yesterday, thank you. Drinking so much water just to feel full. Speaking of bbq, I live right behind one of the best BBQ places in town. After a while, you get so used to the smell you don't even notice it. You'll be just fine![]()
Hi Yvonne, I have just completed day 4!! like you I am a sucker for diet coke, I have found sparkling water a godsend as with it being fizzy kinda tricks the mind! I am not a water fan at all and would really struggle with out it.

Hi Max - I think I can get used to the water. The problem is that I feel thirsty all the time. I'm drinking about 3 liters a day but I feel like I need more. Are you finding yourself having more energy? I have accomplished so much today, laundry, a grocery store run, washed and waxed my car...I like it but it's so unusual to feel this way.
