    Miss Mac's road to recovery!

    Hello, my name is Miss Mac.......and I am a food addict!

    Re-starting on Cambridge today. Have previously tried Exante so had my diary over there for a while but thought since this was a new year and a new start, I would make a fresh new diary here in the Cambridge section.

    So start weight is the most I have ever weighed and i feel blurgh!!

    I have made new years resolutions to lose weight before, and to be honest, I have achieved this....I have lost weight. My problem is I forgot to make a resolution about the rest of it.....to keep the weight off!!

    So this is my resolution this year........to lose weight, AND keep it off!!

    Today is day 1 of many.........



    Goal 1 - Get to 15st 10lb by 30-4-13 - done 21-4-13
    Goal 2 - Get to 14st 10lb by 31-5-13

    Start weight: 16st 10.5lb Current weight: 15st 10lb

    Week 1+2 = -14.5lb

    Well day 1 went fine and today seems to be going ok too. I feel great, i just hope it stays this way.

    That is the best way to do it eh ?
    I must admit, I am alot more impatient this time, as the last time I did it properly, I didn't have a clue what a VLCD was properly about, so it was the unknown.
    But aye, I am the same, smaller steps, and trying harder with the temptations

    Good luck miss mac, keep at it with the small steps and you will succeed.

    I'm on CD for the first time and am approaching the end of day 2. It's going better than I thought, the struggle for me is finding the CD meals that I like. I might end up just on shakes as not enjoyed either of the porridges I've tried. Will keep trying the soups though :-)

    I'm on Day 5 and feeling good. Day 3 was my hardest day- I burst into tears at everything any one said to me and was seriously considering quitting!! But I didn't, instead I sat on here reading all the amazing stories about how much weight they had lost and got myself into the mind set of if they can do it then so can I!

    Hi and thanks for dropping by!

    I only liked 1 porridge and none of the soups or make up shakes and really only 1 bar so i get by on pretty much just the tetra packs. This is fine though as i dont really think the choice matters to me on this diet, just the fact that i can get it down without retching!

    So day 3 for me!


    Had a bit of a bad head today and felt hungry about noon. Put off having a shake though as thought if i was having a hungry day then i might need them to last me longer. So was gonna have it at 2pm and ended up forgetting!
    So first shake was at 15.30 :0

    Still feeling good though, long may it continue.. Xx

    Ok, so today is the end of week 1.

    sorry I have not been around much, ended up doing ss+ and felt like I was cheating! Have still been reading though.

    I got to Thursday last week and was doing fine, then had a difficult day at work along with the start of totm and then didn't finish work till late so I was tired too. Well this combination made me want to eat!

    I knew I was struggling but I thought I can't fail in week 1! Anyway I ended up having a plate of steamed vegetables (100 cal). This was all I had but felt like I had failed! Anyway I had this for the rest of the week.

    So anyway didn't expect to lose much if anything because of the eating however this week I have lost ....10lb

    i am really pleased with that. I would obviously have lost more had I stayed ss but considering it saved me from falling off the wagon, then ill have that!

    so anyway, I am back to ss and All shakes today and I am going to keep like that for as long as I can. My CDC says if I need to do ss+ then that's what I should do. Told her I will just take it day by day but its nice to know that if I need to do it I can and hopefully still lose weight!

    sorry for rambling, I am just so relieved I lost something!! Haha x
