Well here I am.

Day number 1. Ready to go for it all guns blazing. My lovely consultant has just been she is quite new to it but really enthusiastic and easy to talk to which is brilliant! Got weighed and I am 19st 5lbs, Healthy weight for my height (5ft 5in) is 10stone 10lbs so I have a long long way to go.
I am feeling really positive and upbeat about it atm! I have spent all week reading and stalking people on here and it had made me so motivated. Some of the before, during and after pics are just so inspirational!

Time to lose this baby chub and food fat and be happy and healthy again! Husband and I have quit having babies lol guess we just have to accept that we are never gonna have a boy, and we just cant afford anymore lol :D. (UPDATE) This post was Originally jan 2013, we have since had a baby boy and I have been sterilised so definitely no more!!

So whos with me? Who else started today. I will probably be on here posting all the time it is such a distraction as well.

Hope everyone is having a good one today...be back soon the need to pee is calling already

Hi there & welcome.
Hope your doing ok ? The days get much easier and there is stacks of support here do read & post as much as you need to. Keep us posted with how your doing.
Is it day 4 now ?

Hi i edited that post as it was my original one from last year before my back problems and our latest new addition to the family!! I am now alost 3 stone heavier than I was then (gutting) but I did put on 4 stone when I was bed bound, so I have lost a bit since then (about a stone and a half I think) I started Monday 27th October 2014 and have been going well so far. The problem is having to cook meals for the kids and at night time when they are in bed I have a while to be bored.

I am not a big portion eater...well not of meals...but I can eat chocolate till it is coming out of my ears. SO here I am a massive lump all thanks to chocolate, fizzy juice, back problems and too many babies lol. I just dont know how Im gonna do it...one day at a time and not giving up altogether if I have a slip up I think is the best way

How are you Angel...i was reading your story the other day!!

One day at a time is always a good place to start.
When I done this last time (2012 ) I was very much against people
" cheating " and I was virtually SS for 6 months with the exception of a few planned weekends away. Lots of others who did
" cheat " or have lots if slip ups for to goal as well so it made me realise maybe I was to harsh on myself with the whole 100% SS thing as like you say a slip up doesn't have to be the end. It's getting there that matters, not how we get there so your right to have the attitude that's a slip up doesn't have to be the end, that said I've done 40 days 100 % SS with the exception of last Sat when I had poached haddock & poached egg along with far to much gin and prosecco :) bit it was a per planned party.

You will do amazing, you know the plan works and you know how fast & fab the results will come.
Back problems have had me virtually off my feet since July not half as bad as yours but now I've got better mess I'm looking forward to getting back to work & being more mobile.
Hope you've had a fab day and here's to a great weekend :)

Well as i have said in other posts weigh in will normally be a Monday, but was Tuesday this week coz I had a stupid glucose test to go for! Well just been weighed...was terrified that I wouldnt have lost any as I have had my 1st period since I gave birth to my son and have been sooooooooo bloated! Standing on those scales was horrible. But its ok coz I have lost 13 and 1/4 lbs...cant believe it. So happy! My goal for November was to lose 20lbs...almost there lol with 3 weigh ins still to go!!! Yayyyyyyyyy:flirt2:

Flipping fantastic :)

I know you had said about TOTM so my lord imagine if it wasn't that.
You have had one of the best losses I've known so huge pat on the back especially when you have a little one, it's hard going at times but the results make it so worth while. I bet you feel amazing today x x x

Hi GNIC,

Catching up on new logs - well done on that first WI - incredible!

I'm nearing the end of SS, and introducing ss+ meals as and when at the moment. I'm sticking around throughout my journey so looking forward to following yours!

xx

Hi Angel and Flic

Thanks so much. I am so pleased, but also worried now that because I had such a good week that next week will be so so bad! I am a terrible person I put myself down so much and tell myself that I cant do it and that is always my downfall and the reason i end up failing. I was up through the night making a bottle for my son and I was so so tempted to eat a biscuit of all things, because I was so knackered. I have NO issues at all with food during the day...doesnt even cross my mind...even making dinner for 4 kids at night doesnt bother me.
Other than that I feel really good. My husband said i look a lot thinner side on and am starting to slim aroun the rib cage, which I am noticing too coz my hips look bigger because my waist is thinner lol! I am not hungry, no headaches just really thirsty all the time.
One thing I want to ask is does anyone sweat a lot on this plan? As soon as I start moving about the sweat starts pouring off me and I dont know why? Consultant didnt seem to have an answer for it either. I am wondering if it might be increased because of the recent baby and I also got sterilised at the same time.
Heres to another week of shakes and water and once week closer to having a body that I will love, and shopping for clothes that fit and running around with my children xxxxx

thought I was doing well with water drinking out a 750ml bottle and just refilling it throughout the day...for some reason im only on my 3rd ( i think ) i still have major baby brain...i have been peeing loads though :( 3 x 750ml is only 2.2ltrs that is nowhere near enough is it?

Also just found out since I had my spinal surgery in June 2013 I have shrunk to 163cm from 166cm so that makes my BMI even higher actually want to cry!!

Don't worry too much about today's water but if you can I would aim for 3ltr so your not far off :)

Re the previous post about sweating, I notice when I'm more active I do a bit more bit I hadn't thought it to be connected to CWP, just put it down to moving more when I've been very sedate for the summer.

It's great your hubby is noticing changes already, it's easy to say but try to keep your mind in the game, yes you had a fab loss but next week should also be a fab one, maybe after that they will slow down but I'm sure you know people average around a stone a month ( after the 1st few big ones ) So possibly you could manage very close to 1.5 st or even 2 st by Xmas.

Your doing flipping fab x x x x

thanks angel...I am focused just having an emotional day I think haha!! Hormones have a lot to answer for! I think I had a mental ketosis high today was at the school and nursery and walking about really fast and talking so so fast I felt crazy lol! I could just be sweating all the crap out of my system, hopefully it will stop soon. I am distracting myself listening to music on my laptop and browsing all the inspirational pics etc.
How are you doing?

xx

Hi GNic,

Looks like we we both started at the same time, congrats on that amazing first week loss!
How are you finding the second week? I'm hoping after this week it'll all settle into a routine and become 'normal' seeing as I've got a long way to go!

Good luck xx
